Donnie W. Bailey-age 73 of Washburn passed away Monday, May 1, 2023, at his home surrounded by his family. He was a member of Locust Grove Baptist Church. Donnie was a Navy Veteran. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
Preceded in death by parents, J.C. and Judy Bailey; brother, Danny Bailey; granddaughter, Tiema Nicole Nicley; uncles, Sam and Bobby; aunts, Sue, Juanita, Gaynell and Mary Lou.
Joni Sue Conner Hall- age 57 of Maynardville went to be with the Lord Friday, April 28, 2023. Joni was a wonderful wife and mother. She worked hard in everything she did. Her family was always first and foremost. She raised many animals, including miniature horses and dogs, which she included in her family. Along with her husband they started Union County Youth Football League, and she served as co-founder and secretary.

Cris Woods-age 64 of Maynardville went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 27, 2023, after a battle with cancer.

Marvin Dean Atkins-age 60 of Luttrell passed away Thursday, April 27, 2023, at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center. He professed faith in Christ at an early age and was of the Baptist Faith. Graduate of Horace Maynard High School, Class of 1981.
Preceded in death by wife, Deborah Kay (Wilkerson) Atkins; parents, Gerald and Nola Elizabeth (Bucker) Atkins; brother, Ralph Douglas Atkins.
Ronald Hubert Wolfenbarger, Sr.-age 69 of Washburn passed away Tuesday, April 25,2023, at his home.

Billy Wayne (Bill) Nicley-age 70 of Washburn passed away Thursday, April 20, 2023 at Parkwest Medical Center. He was born December 8, 1952 and was the son of Robert Lee and Helen Mae (Kitts) Nicley. In addition to his parents, Bill is preceded in death by brothers, Clifford Nicley, Hubert Nicley; sisters, Betty Lou Nicley, Rose Onalee Nicley, Irene “Callie” Nicley Dalton, Gracie Nicley Bailey.

William Ray Poore, Sr. – age 79 of Sharps Chapel, born October 17, 1943 passed away April 14, 2023 at UT Hospital. Saved at a young age, William became an entrepreneur with many business adventures throughout his life including helicopter and fixed wing pilot, scuba diver, realtor and owner of successful businesses.
Beulah Elizabeth Wolfenbarger-age 99 of Luttrell went to be with the Lord Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at Fairpark Healthcare Center in Maryville. She was a faithful member of Warwick’s Chapel Baptist Church in Luttrell. She was a seamstress and was a retired employee of American Clothing and Volunteer Apparel. Preceded in death by husband, Everett Wolfenbarger, Sr., two granddaughters, four brothers and three sisters.
Penny Renee Wilson-age 59 of Maynardville, passed away Monday, April 10, 2023 at North Knoxville Medical Center. She was saved at an early age and was of the Freewill Baptist Faith. She was a talented musician and loved playing keyboard, piano and guitar. She was a very loving mother and grandmother who was loved by all who knew her. Preceded in death by parents, Wayne and Betty Houser.

George Andrew Hatten-age 48, June 5,1974 ~ March 31,2023. George (half-pint) passed away on Friday, March 31,2023, unexpectedly in Whitesburg, Kentucky, in the process of moving his small family to Tennessee. He loved his immediate family from a distance. He moved away several years ago on a new adventure to become a new person and prove himself. George became a new man, father, husband and a provider.
