Marvin Lynn Munsey-age 59 of Maynardville went to be with Jesus Tuesday, July 18, 2023 at home. He was of the Baptist faith and a member of Fairview Baptist Church. He is survived by parents, Melborn and Imogene Munsey; brother, Tim (Martha) Munsey; sister, Sharon (Wayne) Ward; daughter, Shannon Munsey; grandchildren, Gabriel Joyce, Mia and Addison Munsey. Several loving aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews. Best friend, Paul Graves. Marvin loved people and was always willing to help anyone. Marvin was a huge fan of Hank Williams, Jr. and his hobby was recycling used parts and making them into lamps. He was a devoted son and helped his mom and dad anyway he could.
The family will receive friends 3-6 p.m. Saturday, July 22, 2023 with funeral service to follow at 6 p.m. Saturday, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Dean Brantley, Rev. Gary Beeler officiating with music by Rev. Richard and Linda Nicley. Interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery, Luttrell.
