Christopher Phillips – age 44, of Knoxville, passed away suddenly Thursday, July 27, 2023. He was an employee of ORNL where he enjoyed going to work every day.

He is preceded in death by his father, Ronnie Phillips. Chris is survived by his best friend and love of his life, his wife, Stacy Phillips; mother, Vicky Phillips; children, whom he was so proud of and loved so dearly, Matthew (Emma) Lamb, Ashton (Cameron) Lamb, Abby (Micah) Lamb, Lexi Lamb, Alexa Phillips and Madden Phillips; Chris’s pride and joy, grandson, Ayden; sister, Amy (Tim) Huskey; mother-in-law, Gwen (David) Campbell; father-in-law, Faron (Patsy) Tolliver; sisters-in-law, Casey (Tommy) Hunter, Kendahl (Tyler) Nicholson and Jessica (Ty) Blakey; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews; and his puppy that he loved much, Nux.

The family will receive friends 4:00 – 6:00 p.m., Saturday, July 29, 2023 in the Trinity Funeral Home Chapel. The service to follow with Reverend Tim Muncey officiating. Family and friends will meet at Trinity to proceed to Anderson-Gouffon Cemetery on Tazewell Pike at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, July 30, 2023 for a 3:00 p.m. graveside service.
