Ray Edward Kitts-age 82 of the Halls Community in Knoxville went home to be with the Lord Monday, July 17, 2023 at his home. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Halls. Preceded in death by parents, Ralph and Rachel (Kidwell) Kitts; brothers, Harvey, Bobby, Bill and Jake Kitts; step-sons, Tommy and Ralph Kidwell.
He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Joan (Crawford) Kitts; daughter, Angela “Chris” Kitts; step-daughter, Vickie (Larry) Hipsher. Five grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter. Sister, Betty Rash. Several nieces and nephews along with a host of friends.
