Hettie Buckner Paul-age 81 of Maynardville passed away Friday, July 14, 2023, at her home. She was of the Baptist Faith, saved and baptized at Warick Baptist Church at an early age. Preceded in death by parents, Johnny Delbert “Deb” Buckner and Myrtle Wolfenbarger Buckner; brothers, Claude Buckner, Glen Buckner, J.D. Buckner, Kenneth Buckner, Homer Buckner; sisters, Jessie Buckner Jones, Gertie Buckner Grubb, Alice Buckner, Francis Buckner Wilkerson.

Survivors: daughter, Connie Paul of Crossville; brother-in-law, Dennis Paul, Maynardville; 10 nieces 2 nephews and several great nieces and nephews and cousins. Hettie loved her family and never met a stranger. She loved her gospel music and going to revivals in Maynardville. Appreciation to all nursing staff and ICU at Tennova North, especially the love and care given by the hospice nurses on the 4th floor. Thank you and God bless you all.

The family will receive friends 5-7PM Monday, July 17, 2023, with funeral to follow at 7 PM Monday Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Jerry Savage officiating. Interment 11 AM Tuesday, July 18, 2023, in Baker Cemetery, Luttrell. Family and friends to meet at the funeral home 10 AM Tuesday to go in the procession. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
