Minnie B. (Canada) Idol age 73 of Knoxville was born October 19, 1944 and passed away Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her Parents: John William and Mamilee Canada, Brothers: Clarence and Dave Canada and her Sister: Johnny Mae Baker.
She is survived by her Husband: Dewey Idol, Daughters: Paula Idol, Sherry Liford and Husband J.C., Brothers: Terry Canada, Bill Canada, Kenneth Canada, Sisters: Juanita Chamberland, Marie Wallace, Joann Deford and Diane Bunch. Several nieces, nephews and a host of other family and friends.

James Earl Grubb

James E. Grubb-age 73 of Luttrell went home to be with the Lord Saturday evening, January 6, 2018 at Physicians Regional Medical Center. He was a member of Beulah Baptist Church. Mary Frances Wallace, age 92, born March 22, 1925, passed away January 6, 2018 at her home in Corryton. She was a member of Faith Freewill Baptist Church. Mary retired from St. Mary’s Hospital after 27 years of dedicated service. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Vestal Joe Gass; second husband, Fred Wallace; son, Jimmy Gass; parents, Albert & Ula Anderson; sisters, Helen and Betty; brother, Howard.

Brandon Graves, age 33, went to be with the Lord Thursday January 4th, 2018. He is preceded in death by parents Bobby Ray Graves and Margaret Rochester, and also grandfather Albert Hammack. L. Vonzo “Von” Rodgers, age 78, of Heiskell, TN passed away on Tuesday, January 2nd, 2018. He was a United States Navy Veteran and of the Baptist faith. Warren Calvin "Sonny" Parker, Jr.

Warren Calvin Parker Jr., affectionately known as Sonny-age 64 of Bean Station went to be with the Lord Friday evening, January 5, 2018 at The Heritage Center in Morristown with his loving sister and life-long caretaker by his side. He was a sweet and very loving brother and uncle.

Robert Lee White

Robert Lee White (RL) – May 28th 1937 – January 4th 2018 . Founder of R&W Supply and member of Callahan Road Baptist Church. He loved his family with no limits, was an avid golfer at Whittle Springs & Knoxville Municipal Golf Courses, loved to laugh and sing and was always quick with a joke or one of his many stories. He never met a stranger or had a hard word for anyone. He passed away peacefully at his home after an extended battle with Alzheimer’s and Dementia. God blessed him with a happy spirit and the ability to know his family to the very end.

Victor Lee Childress

Victor Lee Childress, age 63 of Halls, passed away on Tuesday January 2, after a long battle with cancer. He was born and raised in Halls, TN and attended Halls High School. Vic was a devoted husband and son, who enjoyed many different hobbies. He was a fabulous cook and an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed raising animals of all kinds, and flying his drone. Vic was preceded in death by his mother, Daisy Childress and numerous aunts and uncles.

Myra L. White, age 58 of Luttrell, went to be with the Lord Wednesday January 3, 2018. She was an amazingly loving, caring and beautiful person inside and out. There are not enough words to describe how much she meant to so many people, especially her daughter. Preceded in death by parents Faye and Ed Collett. Survived by husband Joe White and only daughter and best friend April White. Jean Fender, age 85, passed away December 30, 2017. She retired from Joliet Terrace Nursing Home. Preceded in death by parents Raymond and Edith Dippold; brother and sister-in-law Arkel and Dorothy Dippold; and son-in-law Don Cole Jr. Left to cherish her memory are children Jim (Janet) Fender and Diane (Rob) Payton; granddaughters Kristen Cole and Laurie Cole; and several nieces and nephews. Eddie Earl Phibbs

Eddie Earl Phibbs, age 70, of Andersonville went to be with the Lord on December 30, 2017 after a brave battle with cancer. He was a member of Mount Olive Baptist Church where he was a Sunday School teacher. He was a retired Drafting Engineer who loved antique cars and frequented many car shows with his friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry & Lorine Phibbs; half-brothers, Robert and Buddy Phibbs; half-sisters, Mary Louise Phibbs and Juanita Adcock.
