Tammy Clowers, age 40 of Knoxville, went to be with the Lord January 26, 2018. Tammy was a loving mother and daughter. She enjoyed reading and often read Amish books. She is survived by children Brittany Clowers and Jay Clowers; parents Ralph and Shirley Clowers and several other loved ones. Family will receive friends 5:00-7:00p.m. Monday at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel with service to follow, Rev. Bobby Hankins and Rev. Clyde Haynes officiating. Family and friends will meet 10:45a.m. Tuesday at Bells Campground Cemetery for an 11:00a.m. interment.

Agnes Alma (Faltford) Healey

Agnes Flatford Healey-age 73 of Maynardville went home to be with her Mom Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at Physicians Regional Medical Center. She was a member of Bryams Fork Baptist Church. Preceded in death by mother, Edna Marie Flatford; brothers, Glen, Donnie, Kenny, Jay and Elonzo Flatford; son, Prestis; daughter, Brenda.

Survivors: sisters, Barbara, Sharon, Bronis, Vicky and Faye; brother, Elwood; children, Marie, Danny, Marty and Chris; special nephew, Johnny.

Debra Kay Lee

Debra Kay Lee – age 61 of Maynardville, went home to be with the Lord, January 24, 2018 at North Knoxville Medical Center. She was a member of Milan Baptist Church.

Debra is preceded in death by parents, Chalmer and Maxine Miller; and husband, Jeffrey Lee. She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Christa and Roger Hall; two grandchildren, Bentley and Kinnley Hall; sister, Doris Miller; special aunt, Lula Ellison; and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews.

Timmy Randall Bailey

Timmy Randall Bailey-age 48 of Maynardville, born January 13, 1970 passed away suddenly Wednesday morning, January 24, 2018 at his home. Tim was a member of Nave Hill Baptist Church, member of the Union County Rescue Squad and a retired employee of Tennessee Department of Transportation, Knoxville Office. Preceded in death by father, Buddy Boy Bailey; brother, Ronald Bailey, father-in-law, William Houston Weaver.

Vonnie Lorene Stanifer

Vonnie Lorene Stanifer, born February 28, 1925, passed away January 22, 2018. Vonnie was a loving wife and mother and a doting grandmother. She loved the Lord and had conversations with Jesus for two days before she peacefully passed at Centennial Hospital in Nashville, TN. She was one of the oldest active members of Texas Valley Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Stanifer; and parents, Reed & Mamie Welch.

Georgia L. Beeler Miller, age 92, of Halls Crossroads went to be with the Lord on January 22, 2018. She was a member of Emory Valley Missionary Baptist Church. Georgia is preceded in death by husband Jasper Delone Miller; son Andrew Curtis Miller; granddaughter Kay Michelle Miller Keck; parents Mach and Lennie Beeler; sisters Lela Stiner (Frank) and Myrtle Graves; brothers Hugh Beeler (Ethel), Clarence Beeler (Lilis) and Otis Beeler (Alice).

Lewis Lee Wendover Obituary

Lewis Lee Wendover, age 71, of Hannibal, New York passed away January 21, 2018. Lewis was a sports enthusiast, who loved playing tennis and going fishing. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. Lewis was a physical education coach and teacher for the Miami, Florida school district. Lewis is preceded in death by parents Marjorie and Roscoe Wendover. He is survived by wife of 47 years Sue Wendover, daughter Erin (Patrick) Plyler, grandchildren Carson and Caroline Plyler, and sister Ann Louise Schneider. Barbara Jean Smart Rhyne, age 79, of Powell, passed away at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center on Friday, January 19, 2018 after a short illness. She was a member of The Church at Sterchi Hills. Jean retired from First Tennessee Bank as a Loan Officer after 20 plus years of dedicated service. In her spare time, she enjoyed crafting and gardening. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rev. Haskew & Lucille Smart; and brother, Johnny Smart.

Johnny Allen Braden age 44 of Powder Springs went to be with our Lord Wednesday, January 17, 2018. Johnny had made many friends and had built many houses in the area He was preceded in death by his mother; Diann Elliot. He is survived by his; wife, several aunts and uncles as well as his nieces and nephews.

Leo Oszust

Leo Oszust, known as “JaJa”-age 95 of Maynardville, formerly of Saginaw, Michigan, passed away Wednesday morning, January 17, 2018 at his home. He was a member of Christ The King Catholic Church in New Tazewell since moving to Tennessee in 1992. Leo was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II and was the recipient of the Purple Heart.

He was preceded in death by his; wife, Lorraine Oszust.

Peggy Loucille Rouse - Age 76 of Sharps Chapel. Born July 21, 1941, went to be with her Lord and Savior January 17, 2018. She was a longtime member of Taylor’s Grove Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by parents; John Elmer and Betty (Sharp) Rouse. Survived by sister and brother- in- law; Mary Evelyn and Wayne Beason, special nephew: Darrell Beason and a host of other family and friends. She will be truly missed by all her loved ones.

Patricia Conalee “Gummy” Walker, age 82, passed away peacefully at home Tuesday January 16, 2018. She was proudly born in Honolulu Hawaii. She is survived by son Charles S. Rose (Gayle), daughters Pamela M. Rose and Kimberly D. Carmosino (Gerald), special granddaughter Evangelina “Nena” Carmosino, 9 other grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
