Robin Chitwood

Robin Lynn (Cummings) Chitwood, age 55 of Clinton, passed away on January 14, 2018. The Bible tells us that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord (2 Corinthians 5:8). Robin met her Savior and is experiencing a joy that we cannot even begin to comprehend. Therefore, we will praise the Lord at all times and His praise will always be on our lips (Psalm 34:1), for we know that Jesus is not the God of the dead but of the living, for all live to Him (Luke 20:38). Robin was born on February 12, 1962 to the late Tommy and Dorothy Cummings.

Clyde Earl Hall Sr.

Clyde Earl Hall Sr. born April 8, 1930, passed away January 12, 2018. He was a member of Sharon Baptist Church. He was a Korean War veteran where he received a Purple Heart. Clyde retired as a Captain from Knoxville Police Department after 30 years of service. Survived by son Kenneth Hall, several nieces, nephews, cousins, and sisters-in-law. Family will receive friends 2:00p.m.-3:00p.m. Saturday January 20, 2018 at Sharon Baptist Church with service to follow, Dr. Jim Robertson and Rev. Mike McCoig officiating. Family and friends will then dismiss to Sharon Baptist Church for interment.

Ruby Lee Trentham Harris

Ruby Lee Trentham Harris, age 70 of Halls, passed away January 13, 2018. She was a member of Salem Baptist Church. She retired from Gerdau Ameristeel after many years of service. She was a loving mother and grandmother and a jewel to all who loved her. Preceded in death by parents William and Laura Trentham; brothers William, Ted, and Fred Trentham; sister Jane Hillon. Survived by children Richard Harris and wife Ann and Suzanne Harris Jones; grandsons Lucas Jones and Zach Harris; nephews Ron and Jeffrey Trentham; niece Melissa Competiello; sister-in-law Hazel Trentham.

Shirley Ann Yates

Shirley Ann Williams Yates-age 81 of Blaine passed away Sunday morning, January 14, 2018 at Ft. Sanders Regional Medical Center. She was a member of Indian Ridge Baptist Church. She was born September 17, 1936 the daughter of the late Everett and Ethel (Grubb) Williams; also preceded in death by brothers, Gene, Norman, Tommy, Paul and Carroll Williams.

Margaret Imogene Hall

Margaret Imogene Hall, born August 28, 1937, went to be with the Lord, January 12, 2018. She was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church. Preceded in death by husband Billy M. Hall; parents Chester and Trula Mae Vandagriff; sisters Elizabeth Robertson, Juanita Dabney, and Jean Johnson. Survived by daughter Billie Hughett and husband James; son Timothy and wife Jenny; grandchildren Travis Hall, Anderson and Ansley Hall; sisters Helen Weaver (husband Paul), and Dorothy Crowe; brother Jim Vandagriff and wife Peggy; special brother-in-law Gary Johnson.

Bradley Allen Brown Ridings

Bradley Allen Brown Ridings, age 26, went home to be with the Lord on January 12, 2018. He was saved at 9 years old. Preceded in death by birth parents Danny Brown and Billie Jo Winstead; grandmother Bernice Wallace and special friend John Sutherland. Left to cherish his memory are children Bentley, Liam, Aiden and Gabriella; parents Christopher and Misty Ridings; brothers Christopher Ridings Jr. and Jacob Ridings; grandparents Jerry and Sue Ridings. Harold Wayne Miller

Harold Wayne Miller, age 74, of Knoxville, went home to be with the Lord January 11, 2018. He was a member of N. Acres Baptist Church. He was a retired business owner and longtime member of the Bluegrass Community. He was preceded in death by his Daughter Crystal Miller Nelson, Parents John Henry and Phobe Miller, Sister Shirley Bales and Brother Walter Miller. He is survived by his loving companion Sharon Sutton, Furbaby Lucy, Son Josh Nelson, special caregivers Fred Daniels and Pat White.

Robin Michelle Light

Robin Michelle Light, age 52, passed away January 12, 2018. She was very outgoing and loved people, especially her daughter and grandson. Preceded in death by father Ronald Light; grandparents Earl and June Cheek, Charlie and Marie Yarber; special uncle Robert Bean; and step mother Jenni Light.

Alice Marie Gose White

Alice Marie Gose White, age 79 of Knoxville, passed away Friday January 12, 2018 at North Haven Healthcare Center. She was a member of Beaumont Baptist Church. Preceded in death by parents Reo and Pearl Gose. Survived by children Judith Ann, Tommy Ray, and Cynthia Ann; grandchildren Alison, Carey, Bobby, and Courtney and husband Brandon; 4 great-grandchildren; brothers Jim, David and Roy Gose; several nieces and nephews. Jeffery Lynn Berry

Jeffery Lynn Berry, born December 3, 1953 to Pat (Ramey) and Harley Berry in Knoxville, TN, passed peacefully away after a long battle with kidney disease on Friday, January 12, 2018. Jeff was preceded in death by his wife, Darlene (Ellis) Berry, brother Jay Daniels, Mother and Father, Grandparents Eunice and William C. Ramey, Aunts Betty Dowden, Joyce Wells, and Billie Bedwell, Uncles Glenn Wells and Robert Bedwell. Jeff was a graduate of Halls High School class of 1972. Soon after graduation he enlisted with the U.S. Air Force and served his country for four years.

Amanda Bennett Eden

Amanda (Bennett) Eden, age 44 of Knoxville, passed away January 12, 2018. She was a loving mother to her daughter Summer Rose Eden. Preceded in death by daughter Christina Eden, mother Melissa Doyle and grandmother Doris Eileen Shultz. Survived by daughter Summer Rose Eden; father Eddie Bennett; brother Andrew Newman; partner Wayne Julian; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Eugene "Bill" Roberts

Eugene “Bill” Roberts, age 74 of Knoxville, passed away January 13, 2018. He was a member of Old Pleasant Gap Baptist Church, as well as, an Army and Navy veteran. Bill was a loving husband and a wonderful father and papaw to many. Preceded in death by parents Alberta and William Roberts; 5 brothers; son-in-law Larry F. Roberts Jr.

Jewell Rader Newman

Jewell Rader Newman, age 89 of Halls, passed away January 12, 2018 at home surrounded in love by her grandsons. She was a member of Halls Christian Church and a devout follower of her Christian faith. Preceded in death by husbands Johnnie Earl Rader and Frank Newman and son Michael Rader. Survived by grandsons John Rader (Joe) and Lucas Rader (Leah), and daughter-in-law Sheryl Rader. Special thanks to Karen Graham for her loving care, as well as, Rachel and Tessa with Amedysis Hospice. A private service was held for the family. Debra Sue McMahan, of Knoxville, Tennessee, passed away Friday January 12, 2018 at home. She was of the Baptist Faith. She is preceded in death by her parents, Nell & Monroe Bull, daughter Susan Lenn McMahan and brother James Earls. She is survived by her husband, James McMahan, daughter Heather McMahan, Granddaughter Abigail Inman, Sisters Betsy Lonas & Joan Varner and Brothers Marlin Bull & George Earls and several special nieces and nephews. Dolores Cameron, of Strawberry Plains, Tennessee, passed away Thursday, January 11th, 2018 at Physicians Regional. She retired from Furrow Auction Co. She is survived by husband of 69 years, Leland (Curly) Cameron, son, Steve Cameron, wife Ginny, grandchildren, Corey and Shane Cameron, and great grandchildren, Seth, Haley, Madison, and Brooklyn. The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 14th, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel. Family and friends will meet at 1:45 p.m. for an 2:00 p.m.

Everett Orain Clark (Poppy), of Knoxville, who was born July 21, 1945, passed away January 9, 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank & Katherine Clark and grandparents, Melvin & Maude Davis. He is survived by his wife, Patsy. He also leaves his children, Frank Clark and Renee, Dewayna & Michael Metcalf, Erik Clark and Jennifer, Darin Clark, Debra Lakin and Kenny, and Margaret & Michael Davis.

Jessie Ruth (Ferguson) Wood

Jessie Ruth (Ferguson) Wood age 91 of Luttrell, TN passed away Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at her home surrounded by her loving children after a lengthy illness. She was the only child of Harmon and Ada (Underwood) Ferguson. She was preceded in death by her Husband: Rev. JB Wood, long-time member of New Friendship Baptist Church. Jessie Ruth was the pianist for 30 plus years.

Reba (Lambdin) Cole

Reba (Lambdin) Cole age 84 of Maynardville went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 9, 2018. Reba lived a long and healthy life. She often would be found walking her beloved dogs or working in her beautiful flower garden. She always had a green thumb and saw beauty in all things. She was preceded in death by her Parents: John and Blanchie Lambdin of Sharps Chapel, TN, her Loving Husband: H.V. Cole of Canton, OH, Brothers: Roy Lambdin, Lawrence Lambdin, Troy Lambdin and Sherman Lambdin.

Angela Lucille Parrott

Mrs. Angela Lucille Parrott of Knoxville, TN, passed away on Monday, January 8th, 2018 at the age of 64.
Angela was born to parents James and Edna Dixon on June 12th, 1953 in Oakland CA. She grew up one of five children in a loving family.
Angela married Jeff Parrott in 2003. Angela worked in management until her retirement in 2016. She remained active in her life by watching her oldest great grandchild until her passing

Trula is survived by sister, Marjorie Fraker and husband Carl, Mary Lynn Champion of Clinton; brother, Hobert Tudor of Clinton; sisters-in-law, Fontella Tudor and Ruby Tudor Sproles; daughter-in-law, Debbie Harrison; granddaughter, Laura Surrette; several nieces and nephews.
