Rhonda L. Turnmire, age 50, of Knoxville, passed away December 21, 2017. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and friend. Her family was her pride and joy in life and spent much of her time serving them and others. Rhonda was a 1985 graduate of Halls High School and a member of Bishopville Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ron & Darlene Gatewood; brother, Jimmy Gatewood; mother-in-law, Joyce Turnmire. She is survived by her loving husband of 29 years, Brent Turnmire; daughter, Brittany Turnmire; sister, Cheryl Boles and husband Bruce; nephew, J. T.

Timothy Lynn Williams

Timothy Lynn Williams-age 51 of Maynardville went home to be with Jesus Tuesday, December 20, 2017 at U. T. Medical Center. Preceded in death by wife, Kathy Sweet Williams; father, Glyn Thomas Williams.

Survivors: daughter, Mistie (Lucas) Bruner; son, Wesley Williams; mother and step-father, Carolyn and Chris Mason; brothers, Michael (Paula) Williams, Mark Williams; grandchildren, Elijah Chesney, Josie Hubbs and Raylynn J. (Williams) Hall. Several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews along with a host of friends.

Kimberly Anderson Obituary

Kimberly Nicole Anderson, age 26 of Knoxville, passed away December 5, 2017. She was a beautiful person inside and out. She was loved deeply by everyone that knew her. She had the biggest heart and best personality. Her smile would light up any room she entered. Marie Richards, age 77, of South Knoxville, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 17th, 2017. She was a member of Burnett’s Creek Church for over 50 years. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt. She was preceded in death by husband Carlos Richards; parents Johnny and Polly Cooper Blackburn, grandparents George and Hallie Cooper.

Eddie “Bo” Neal Ray SR. age 57, of Knoxville Tennessee passed away December 17, 2017. He is preceded in death by parents Edward and Ruby, sister Connie, step-brother Ricky, and step-sister Renee. He is survived by wife of 15 years Mary Ann Ray, “Little Bo” Ray (Jennifer), Michelle Varner (Kevin), Tasha Ray (James), and Michael Walker, Kayla Chadwick and grandchildren Taylor, Arie, Becca, Gracie, Mikey, Bella, and Aubrey. He is also survived by sisters Linda, Brenda, Carolyn, Diane, and Patsy; step brother Barry and step-mother Kate.

Preceded in death by beloved wife of 50 years, Crystal Schmauss (2011); mother Esther Schmauss (2012) and father Gilbert Schmauss (1971). Survived by daughter Brenda (Larry) Relford; son Philip Schmauss; grandchildren Susan (Nathan) Thompson, Donnie Scholebo, Lori (Billy) Scholebo, and Destiny Scoggins; great grandchildren Kalei Williams, Ryan & Adam Thompson and Nova Wilson; sisters Linda (Joel) Richmond and Laura (Wayne) Burger; niece Alex Richmond. Bruce Kevin Miles-age 57 of Maynardville passed away suddenly Friday, December 15, 2017 as the result of an automobile accident. He was a member of Meta4 Church and was faithful in attendance. Bruce was the assistant scout master of Troop 401 in Maynardville. Preceded in death by mother, Minnie Miles; grandmother, Rachel Shaffer.

Tammie Rebecca Gregg Vick, age 51, of Powell, passed away December 15, 2017. She was a 1984 graduate of Powell High School. She is preceded in death by her parents, Tom & Edith Gregg; siblings, Jimmy, Tommy, and Dennis. She is survived by her daughter, Brande Waddell and husband Darell; she was known as “Ne-Ne” to her grandchildren, Makynlee, Makynzee, and Trentin. She is also survived by her brother, Ken Gregg and wife Karen; sister, Linda Shelton and husband Jimmie; boyfriend, Chuck Norman; several nieces and nephews.

Paul E. Underwood, age 82, went to be with his heavenly Father on December 14, 2017. God saw you getting tired and your stay was not to be. He put His arms around you and whispered “Come with Me”. With tear filled eyes we watched you fade. Although we loved you deeply we knew that you could not stay. A gold heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest, our hearts were broken but it was God’s way of saying He only takes the best.

Trula White Hansard, age 87, of Powell, went to be with the Lord on December 16, 2017, at her home. She was a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church (Norris Fwy.) and a devoted mother and loving wife. She retired from KOC after 21 years of service. She ran the dairy farm from 1959 to 1984. She was preceded in death by her husband Clyde Hansard by 11 years; her daughter Judy Hansard Kitts; brother C.A. White and parents Charlie and Minnie White.

MIchael "Mickey" Mulberry

Michael “Mickey” Mulberry, 48yrs, of Gainesville, Florida, passed away peacefully at his home on December 13, 2017 in Knoxville, Tennessee. Visitation will be available between 6pm and 7:30pm on Sunday, December 17th, at Mynatt Funeral Home, 4131 E. Emory Road. Funeral services will be held immediately following visitation. Burial will be in Tampa Florida at the Gardens of Memories. Michael was born in Gainesville, Florida to Andy & Hilda Mulberry on May 25, 1969. In 1987, he graduated from Buchholz High School in Gainesville, FL and attended Santa Fe Community College.

Frances “Cookie” McConnell, age 85 of Knoxville, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday December 14, 2017 at Fort Sanders Medical Center. She was a member of Church Street United Methodist Church. She retired from the Knox County School System as a longtime secretary at West, South, and South Young High Schools. Preceded in death by husband John R. McConnell. Survived by son John R. McConnell II and daughter-in-law Edith; son Dan Joseph McConnell and wife Jacqueline McConnell; daughter Beth Anne McConnell; grandchildren James Allan McConnell and wife Christina, J.D.

Janet Marlene Fraley, age 67 of Maynardville, Tennessee and Paintsville, KY went home to be with her Lord and Savior on December 11th at her home in Maynardville. She left this world surrounded with her loved ones singing her into the arms of the Lord. She was born on January 13, 1950 in Paintsville, KY to the late Delmar and Gladia Fraley. She was also preceded in death by her brothers Bud Fraley, Bill Fraley, Dean Fraley, David Fraley and her sisters Barb Maupin and Ann Treague.

Margaret Elizabeth Dalton, 88, of the Gibbs Community went to be with the Lord on December 12, 2017. She was a life-time member of Clear Springs Baptist Church, Corryton. She is preceded in death by her husband Clarence Dalton, son Gregory, parents France and Hulda Parker, sisters Della, Dolly, Dora, and Creole, brothers Claude, Everette, Fred, and Sam Parker. She leaves to mourn her passing caregivers, Chris and Yvette Parker, Virginia and Donnie Schubert, and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will meet at 10:45a.m.
