L. Vonzo “Von” Rodgers, age 78, of Heiskell, TN passed away on Tuesday, January 2nd, 2018. He was a United States Navy Veteran and of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by wife of 35 years, Rebecca Phillips Rodgers, parents Caney and Icie Moreland Rodgers, and siblings Herman, Walter, Frank Rodgers and Leta Harbin. He is survived by children Lavonda (Shane) Lambert and Steven (Erica) Rodgers, grandsons Brandon and Logan Lambert and soon to be born Easton Rodgers, twin brother L. Lonzo “Lon” Rodgers, “like a son,” Robert Johnson, “like a grandson,” David Johnson, numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. The family will receive friends on Friday, January 5th, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel.
