Victor Lee Childress, age 63 of Halls, passed away on Tuesday January 2, after a long battle with cancer. He was born and raised in Halls, TN and attended Halls High School. Vic was a devoted husband and son, who enjoyed many different hobbies. He was a fabulous cook and an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed raising animals of all kinds, and flying his drone. Vic was preceded in death by his mother, Daisy Childress and numerous aunts and uncles. Survivors include loving wife Betty Holloway Childress, father and step-mother Marshall and Elizabeth Childress, daughter and son-in-law Kelli and Ray Knight; step-daughter Tracy Holloway; step-son Tim and Robin Holloway; grandchildren Lola Knight and Madison Payne; step-grandson Corey Holloway; step-granddaughters Chelsey Chuy and Danielle Jacobs; Uncle David Jeffers; Aunt Juanita Woods and many dear friends. Family and friends’ may stop by at their convenience Sunday January 7, 2018 between 10:00a.m.-6:00p.m. at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel.
