Nicole Marie (Shaner) Lockhart- age 48 of Luttrell passed away Saturday, February 27, 2021 at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center in Knoxville, Tennessee. She was a member of The Little Brown Church in Sharps Chapel. She was a longtime employee for the Union County Public Schools and worked for a wonderful boss, Eddie Graham.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Carl and Martha Shaner and Edward and Elnora Topp; father-in-law, Daniel Lockhart and brother-in-law, Matt Clevinger.

Delphine Evans Thomas-age 58 of Knoxville, formerly of Union County passed away Saturday, February 27, 2021 at Blount Memorial Hospital. Preceded in death by father, David Evans; mother, Loriene Nicely.
Survivors: brother, Ronnie Lynn Evans; sister, Crystal Gail Cooke; nephews, Daniel Evans, Cory Goforth, Benjamin Cecil, Adam Evans; aunt, Clayrissa Hill; uncle, Jimmy Evans along with a host of friends.

Misty Norton-age 41 of Knoxville passed away Friday, February 19, 2021. Misty had a kind and generous heart and will be immensely missed!

She is preceded in death by her father, Ronnie Houston.

She is survived by her 9-year old daughter, Abigail Makenzie Guyton; mother, Angela Keck; brothers, Casey Houston and Matthew Houston; sister, Paige Houston along with several nieces and nephews.

Harold Wayne Beason – 69 of Maynardville, passed away March 1, 2021 at North Knox Medical Center. He was a member of Community Baptist Church. Harold enjoyed painting, vintage cars, hunting and fishing.

He is preceded in death by parents, Paris “Short” and Sally Beason. Harold is survived by daughters, Tonia and Jason Heiskell and Shelby Beason and Conner Forward; grandson, Jacob Heiskell; sister, Linda and Steve Branum; nephew, Brandon Henry; and special friend, Carolyn Warwick.

Howard Edward Summers – age 88 of Knoxville, passed away peacefully Friday, February 26, 2021 at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center. He was a member of Colonial Heights Church.

James C. Anderson age 50 of Blaine passed away on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at his home. He worked along side his dad, Bill Anderson and his nephew, Ty Hunley with Anderson Pump Service for many years. A 16-year veteran of the Blaine Volunteer Fire Department, James was best described as the guy who will go the last mile for you. A true hero that was always willing to help anyone, anywhere, anytime. He also enjoyed hunting and camping.

Carolyn (Whitson) Savage-age 76 of Maynardville passed away Thursday, February 25, 2021 at her home surrounded by family. She was a member of Luttrell Baptist Church since 1988 and a retired employee of Union County School Systems. Preceded in death by parents, Ernest and Elsie Whitson; siblings, Shirley Monroe, Don Whitson, Danny Whitson; infant son, Robert Gregory and son-in-law, Charles Oliver.

LouAnn McKinney Jarvis-age 86 of Washburn went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at Island Home Healthcare. She was a member of Mount Eager Baptist Church. Preceded in death by parents, Hubert and Clara McKinney; husband, Clay Jarvis; son, Allen Jarvis; sister, Eileen Buckner; brother, Ralph McKinney.
She leaves behind her daughter-in-law, Patricia Jarvis; granddaughter, Lori (Ronnie) Clay; great-granddaughters, Kalee and Emily; sisters-in-law, Ruth Thomas and Easter Mincey. Several nieces and nephews. Special friends, Larry, Bonnie and Cody Lay.

Eddie J. V. Buckner-age 72 of Luttrell. After a two-year battle with cancer. He fought a good fight and his battle was won 1 p.m. Wednesday, February 24, 2021 when he went to be with the Lord. He was a loving husband, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was a member of Ailordale Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Cecil Buckner; sister Loretta Beeler, Faye Williams, Margaret Arnwine and his beloved grandson, Nathan Buckner.

Paul Aldon Mynatt, age 90, happily reunited with his beautiful and beloved wife, Betty Jane Muncey Mynatt, in Heaven on February 24, 2021. They were happily married for 45 years and will now be together for all eternity praising Jesus their Savior and their Heavenly Father God. He was a member of New Friendship Baptist Church, Luttrell, TN. Preceded in death was the love of his life Betty; parents Charles and Sarah Jane Mynatt; sister Nellie Frasier; and brothers Elbert and Hubert Mynatt; son-in-law, Larry Baker.

Everett Junior Patrick-age 77 of Luttrell passed away suddenly Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at his home. Funeral services 2 P.M. Friday, February 26, 2021, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Ruth Dell Mihaltian-age 92 of Washburn passed away Monday, February 22, 2021 at North Knoxville Medical Center.

She will be cremated and the ashes returned to Ohio for burial. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.

Joseph Francis Reihl-age 73 of Knoxville passed away Saturday, February 20, 2021 at Parkwest Medical Center. He was a U. S. Navy Veteran.
Cremation is planned with interment at the East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery on John Sevier Highway, Knoxville.

Karen Hensley Brown-age 52 of Maynardville passed away Sunday morning, February 21, 2021 at Parkwest Medical Center. She was a member of Jim Town Baptist Church. Preceded in death by parents, Larry E., Sr. and Carolyn Kitts Hensley; brother, Larry E. Hensley, Jr.
Survivors: husband, Tony Brown; daughters, Kasey (Doug) Crawford, Ashley (Ryan) Brown; step-daughter, Amanda (Jay) Thomas; son, Shane (Megan) Brown; grandchildren, Trina Crawford, Jase Crawford, Vincin Kingrey, Jacob Thomas, Mason Thomas, Josh Thomas, Bella Thomas and one on the way.

Cecil D. “Dob” Helton-age 88 of Washburn took his Heavenly flight to be with the Lord 11:19 P.M. Friday, February 19, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family. He was a lifelong member of Elm Springs Missionary Baptist Church where he served as a deacon since 1988 and spent his life helping others as well as his dedication to serving the Lord. He was preceded in death by parents, Anderson and Mary Jane Helton along with eight brothers and three sisters.

Ella Mae Roberts-age 88 of Knoxville (formerly of Corryton) passed away Thursday, February 18, 2021 at her home. She was a member of Nehemiah Church. She was a devoted Christian who served the Lord, alongside of her husband, in Christian ministry over several decades. She leaves an incredible legacy of service and love for others for all of us to follow. She was a dedicated employee of the Halls Wal-Mart, Jewelry Department, retiring after 15 years of service.

Tommy Edward Wolfenbarger-age 63 of Luttrell went to be with the Lord Wednesday morning, February 17, 2021 at his home. He was of the Baptist faith and was an avid animal lover. Betty Lou “Ludy” Chesney-age 88 of Luttrell passed away peacefully Friday morning, February 19, 2021 at her home. She was a lifelong member of Black Fox Primitive Baptist Church. Preceded in death by parents, Horace and Bertha Chesney; siblings, Roy, Frank, Dick and Mary Chesney, Gladys and Rob Farmer, Kate and Rub Larmer and brother-in-law, Gene Dyer.

Surviving siblings, special sister, Daisy Dyer; brother, Bill and Dolly Chesney. Several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews.

Deadrick “Rick” Croxdale, Jr. – age 60 of Maynardville, passed away February 17, 2021. He was a member of American Christian Church. Rick was an assistant golf pro at Oak Ridge Country Club.

He is preceded in death by parents, Deck and Inez Croxdale. Rick is survived by his wife of 33 years, Vicky (Langley) Croxdale; stepdaughter, Mandy (Craig) Chaffins; grandchildren, Nick and Elijah Chaffins; sister, Norma (Ken) Brown; nephew, Paul (Cindy) Newman; and grand nieces, Nicole, Ashley and Haley.

Don David Johnson – age 78 of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away February 17, 2021 surrounded by his family. He was of the Baptist faith.
