Survivors: parents, Brandon and Jennifer Hickman; sisters and brothers, Kannessa, Lakeisha and Preston Hickman; grandparents, Larry and Shirley Hickman; Lori Cassidy; great-grandmother, Goldie Bailey. Several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Jimmy J. Darnell-age 77 of New Tazewell, a native of Lewisburg, Tennessee passed away Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at his home. He was preceded in death by girlfriend, Mary Jo Clark; sister, Dorothy Frank; brother, William Darnell.
Survivors: daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly and Gary Anderson; granddaughter and her husband, LaRae and Brock Molnar; grandson, Jeremy Baker; great-granddaughter, Grace Taylor; great-grandson, Issac Molnar; sister, Edna (Liz) Hendericks; brother, Bobby Darnell. Several nieces and nephews.
Lucinda Ann Chapman-age 63 of Sevierville passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 17, 2020 around 8 a.m. after battling stage 4 cancer. Cindy was a beloved mother, sister, daughter, aunt, cousin and friend.
Cindy is survived by her son, Tim Chapman, her daughter, Danielle Adkins, her sisters; Cathy Mayes and Sherrie Coffman, her brothers, Dave, Donald, Terry, and Danny Hunter and her mother, Credith Hunter.
Cindy was born in Ravenna Ohio on April 20, 1957.
She was a strong and independent woman who loved family gatherings and she was an avid baker and seamstress.

Dennis Wayne Akers-age 53 of Tazewell, born December 2, 1966 in Pineville, Kentucky passed away suddenly Thursday, November 12, 2020 at his home. He is preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Akers; parents, Sue and Dennis Akers; mother-in-law, Ellen Daniels.
He is survived by sons, Josh Akers and girlfriend, Gracie Mcleod; Daniel Akers and girlfriend, Kaitlyn Bailey; sisters, Shirley (Steve) Brock, Tammy (Dewey) Reeder as well as several nieces, nephews and a host of other family and friends.

Mary Louise (Mitchell) Ray-age 90 of Sharps Chapel passed away Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at Claiborne Health and Rehabilitation. She was born January 28, 1930 the daughter of the late Glenn Mitchell and Mildred (Cameron) Holder. Also preceded in death by her husband, L. E. Ray; brothers, Glenn A. Mitchell, Roy E. Mitchell; sisters, Dorothy and a infant sister; also the parents that raised her, George and Dinia (Ellison) Barnard. She was a longtime member of Oak Grove Primitive Baptist Church.

He was a member of New Friendship Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by father, Claude Beeler; mother, Maxine Beeler; son, Ronald Beeler; sisters, Brenda Collins, Glenda Carroll; brothers, Ricky Beeler, Michael Beeler, Buster Beeler and grandson, Landon Suttles.
Jimmy Grable, age 72, passed away suddenly at his home on November 7, 2020. He was a member of Atkins Baptist Church. He was greatly loved by his church family. He, along with Gary Graybeal, started and owned Grable Roofing in 1973.He is preceded in death by his father Phillip Graybeal, mother Lillie Graybeal, siblings Fred Grable, Ray Graybeal, Louise Johnson, Edith Atkins, Bernice Cowart, and Larry Graybeal, and son Eddie Childress.
Doris Ann (Williams) Hickman-age 68 of Maynardville passed away peacefully Saturday, November 7, 2020 at her home with her family at her side. She was a member of Emory Road Baptist Church. She was unreasonably protective of her kids and grandkids and just as unapologetic about it. Her strong faith and strength allowed her to face every burden and hardship with love and grace. She laughed easily and often. She smiled warmly. She danced, joked and sang with a child like joy.
Beverly Anne (Bernett) Wilson passed away on November 5, 2020, at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, TN. She was born June 21, 1932 in Pittsburgh, PA, the daughter of Herbert and Mildred Bernett. A graduate of Stowe High School, Bev worked for several employers in the Pittsburgh area before moving to Ohio, where she worked as an office manager for the Ohio Bureau of Vocational Rehabilitation. Bev was married to Robert Wilson on April 12, 1958, and after spending 2 years in Casablanca, Morocco they moved to Canfield, OH to raise a family.
Clayton Dewayne “Buck” Napier, Jr.-age 50 of Washburn passed away suddenly Tuesday, November 3, 2020 at his home. He was raised in the Pentecostal Holiness faith. He also enjoyed attending the Powder Springs Baptist Church near his home. He loved the Lord and the Bible and could talk about them for hours. He was preceded in death by his mother, Debbie Millwee; brother, Stevie Napier; grandfather, Reuben Napier; grandmother, Ethel Napier.
James Vallen Waller, Jr. “J.V.” – born on May 9, 1942 in Chesney, Tennessee to James Vallen and Frances Skeen Waller. J. V. passed away on Saturday October 31, 2020 at the University of Tennessee Medical Center after a lengthy illness. He was saved at an early age and was a lifelong member of Warwick’s Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. J. V. served in the United States Army stationed in Korea. He was also involved in many different organizations from being General Chairman of Carmen at Norfolk Southern Corporation to serving on many boards in Union County.
Alene (Pug) Hall Munsey-age 57 of Maynardville went to be with our Lord and Savior Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at her home. She was a member of Raccoon Valley Missionary Baptist Church, Maynardville. She was preceded in death by parents, Estle and Margaret Hall; brothers, Ed, Lock, Joe, Rev. Clyde, James and Fred Hall; grandson, Seth Munsey.
Randall Lynn Kitts, May 2, 1975 – October 28, 2020. Our Randy left this world for paradise due to complications from Covid-19.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Mary; grandfather, Ralph Kitts; grandparents, Ted and Wilma Kitts; aunt and uncle, Sandy and Boo. Randy is survived by his loving wife, Nickie and sons, Richie, Austin, Michael and Sammy; brother, Glen; his father and stepmother, Ron and Neva; grandmother, Bonnie Reece; aunts, Sharon and Donna; uncle, Joel; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jim and Brenda Baker; and several cousins.
Michael Brandon Fraser, 36, of Sevierville, died Sunday October 25th at UT hospital. He was born April 15th 1984.
Michael lived every day to the fullest, making an impression on everyone he met. He could instantly light up a room with his beautiful smile or his witty and charming personality. Michael was an entrepreneur but he always flourished in a sales position. He could talk to absolutely anyone. Michael loved to be adventurous and hardly ever turned down a chance to explore this world. He was spontaneous and electric!
Reverend Joe “Michael” Johnson – age 49 from Maynardville, went to be with the Lord on October 22, 2020. He was a loving husband, dad, son, brother, uncle, friend, spiritual leader and pastor to many. He loved his Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ and dedicated his life to sharing God’s word with the lost. He was a member of Mars Hill Baptist Church. Michael really enjoyed coon and squirrel hunting and fishing. He will be deeply missed by family and friends, but leaves behind a strong spiritual legacy.
