Joe Carroll Mitchell-age 52 of Knoxville passed away Saturday, August 7, 2021 at his home. He was an installer with Broadway Carpets in Knoxville. Preceded in death by father, Tim Mitchell; son, Joey Mitchell; grandchildren, Alyssa and Haley Mitchell, Timothy Mitchell; daughter-in-law, Heather Mitchell; brother, Wesley Mitchell; sister, Tammy Mitchell.
Survivors: sons, Michael Mitchell; Daniel Grasty and wife, Jordan, all of Johnson City; granddaughter, Anna Mitchell; mother, Carolyn Mitchell; brothers, Tim Mitchell and wife, Jackie; Jimmy Mitchell; Dennis Mitchell, all of Knoxville. Several nieces and nephews along with a host of friends.
The family will receive friends 1-3 p.m. Sunday, August 15, 2021 at Cooke-Campbell Mortuary. Graveside service and interment 3:30 P.M. Sunday, Community Cemetery, Donahue Road, Luttrell.
