Robert G. England
Robert Greene England-age 93 of Knoxville, born October 31, 1927 passed away Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at his home. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps having served in World War II and the Korean War. Robert was of the Baptist faith and a member of Lyon Lodge #29 F. & A.M., Independence, Oregon. Robert was an educator, curricular developer, school principle, technical writer and aviator. He was the son of the late Edward and Eleanor England; also preceded in death by sister, Shirley Steward.
Survivors: wife of 21 years, Charlotte England; children, Rebecca Freckleton, Jefferson England, Douglas England and wife, Yoko; Robert M. England and wife, Sara; Garett Oberg and wife, Jennie. Step-daughter, Brandy Creech; 14 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren. Brother, Vance Edward England; sister-in-law, Liz McCurry. Several nieces and nephews.

Military graveside service will be conducted 10 a.m. Monday, September 20, 2021 at East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery, 2200 E. Governor John Sevier Highway, Knoxville, Tennessee with the Tri-County Veterans Honor Guard officiating. Entombment will follow at the cemetery. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
