Henry R. Webb-age 79 passed away peacefully Sunday, February 19, 2023, at the University of Tennessee Medical Center, with his wife of 61 years Betty Webb by his side. He was a member of Nave Hill Baptist Church in Maynardville.
Preceded in death by his son, Timothy Webb; grandson Allen Wayne Webb; parents William & Lona Webb; brother Herman Webb and sister Patricia Jones.
Sylvia Carolyn Beeler-age 83 of Knoxville, Tennessee passed away Sunday morning, February 19,2023 at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center. She was a born again Christian and a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. She is gone to be with the Lord and is resting in his arms. She had a heart of gold and was willing to help anyone in need. She loved her husband, children and grandchildren with all of her heart.
Preceded in death by daughter, Connie Beeler Campbell and son, Gary Wade Beeler.

Mary Elizabeth Forrest-age 78 of Luttrell passed away Friday morning, February 17, 2023 at Claiborne Medical Center. She was of the Church of God faith. Preceded in death by parents, Bill and Susie Taylor.
Survivors: husband of 24 years, Douglas Forrest of Luttrell; daughter, Paula Bailey of Knoxville; step-children, Michael Forrest, Edward James Forrest, Rachel Stacy, Wendy Summers, Carl Huffman, Douglas Forrest. Grandchildren, Keisha Keen, Tiffany Bailey, Amanda Bailey, Dakota Huffman, Jacob Huffman, Kaitlin Huffman, Logan Forrest, Destiny Cary. Several great-grandchildren.
Pauletta Louise Hunter-age 79 of Rutledge, formerly of Robertsdale, Alabama passed away Thursday, February 16,2023 at Buchanan Place Heath and Rehab in New Tazewell. She was of the Baptist faith. Preceded in death by husband, Luther Hunter; daughter, Lisa Ramey; two brothers, Danny Whitaker and Mark Whitaker.
Survivors: sons, Gene Miller, Jr. of Florida and John Miller of Alabama; six Grandchildren; five Great-grandchildren; sisters, Joyce Belles and Jeanne Henry. Dear friend, Mary Daniels of Alabama. Several nieces and nephews along with a host of friends.

Peggy June (Seagle) Burggraf – age 71 of Tazewell, passed away Sunday, February 12, 2023 at home to spend eternity in her Heavenly home with her Savior, Jesus Christ. She was born December 13, 1951 to Earl and Ruby June Seagle. Peggy lived her Christian life and love for the Lord to everyone she met. She lived most of her life with heart problems, but she was known to have the biggest heart for people. The one-word people used to describe Peggy was “sweet”. One of her favorite verses was Proverbs 3:5-6.
David Edward Hutchison age-69 of Andersonville passed away Sunday, February 12,2023 at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Francis and Irby Hutchison.

Rev. Steve Tharp-age 64 of Luttrell went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, February 8, 2023 at Oak Ridge Methodist Medical Center. He lived his life doing his best to make the Lord a good soldier. He was a dedicated member of New Friendship Baptist Church and was a former pastor of Blue Springs Baptist Church and Ridgeview Baptist Church. He was employed at Patterson Brothers as a truck driver. He is preceded in death by parents, Harley Lloyd and Elsie Fern Tharp; sister, Kimberly Tharp.
Ralph Sharp age 87 of New Tazewell was born July 24, 1935 and passed away February 10, 2023 at home peacefully in his sleep. He served his country in the Army for 7 years. He was owner of Sharps Grading Contractors for over 50 years, where he worked with his loving son and grandson. Ralph married Mildred Rosson August 15, 1958. He was a loving family man and enjoyed telling many stories over the years with his friends. Ralph was a member and deacon of Head of Barren Baptist Church.

Ms. Dottie Williams age 82 of Monroe, Michigan was born October 14, 1940 and passed away February 3, 2023 at her home with her family by her side. She retired from General Motors after 37 years and an active member of the UAW local 14. Dottie enjoyed and loved her family. She was an avid gardener and loved being outdoors. She was a basketball fan and loved Tennessee basketball.

Ramiro Munoz-Gonzalez-age 37 of Knoxville passed away Thursday morning, February 2, 2023 at U. T. Medical Center. He was born June 1, 1985 in Mexico. He was a founding member of St. Teresa of Kolkata Catholic Church in Maynardville. He was a rancher, farmer and also a self-employed brick mason for 15 years. He was a loving husband, father, son and brother. He loved his wife and family and his God above all else.
Max Ray-age 79, of Sharps Chapel, born October 31,1943 passed away Friday evening, February 3, 2023 at Select Specialty Hospital. Preceded in death by parents, Lowe and Lassie (Pratt) Ray, siblings, Martha Mae Ray, Anna Mae Ray, Lorene Ray and Ralph Ray. He was a member of Oak Grove Primitive Baptist Church and worked as a diesel mechanic for Massey Ferguson and Payne Ford Tractor in Tazewell for 44 years. He spent countless hours helping friends and neighbors with small engine repairs.
Donald Ray Odom – age 81 of Maynardville, left for his heavenly home on February 5, 2023. He was born in Sweetwater on September 23, 1941. Donald was employed with TVA for 31 years where he made many fond memories and many dear friends. During his retirement he gardened and mowed many yards. He enjoyed fishing with his grandsons.
