Ramiro Munoz-Gonzalez-age 37 of Knoxville passed away Thursday morning, February 2, 2023 at U. T. Medical Center. He was born June 1, 1985 in Mexico. He was a founding member of St. Teresa of Kolkata Catholic Church in Maynardville. He was a rancher, farmer and also a self-employed brick mason for 15 years. He was a loving husband, father, son and brother. He loved his wife and family and his God above all else.

Survivors: wife of 17 years, Maria (Susy) Barajas-Perez; four children, Alexa Munoz, Valeria Munoz, Ramiro Munoz, Guadalupe Munoz along with many God-children. Parents, Ramiro Munoz and Alicia Gonzalez; one brother, Rigoberto Munoz; five sisters, Maria Del carmen Munoz, Patricia Munoz, Margarita Munoz, Maria Guadalupe Munoz, Silvia Munoz. Several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins along with a host of friends.

Visitation and Rosary Service starting at 7 p.m. Friday, February 10, 2023 and lasting all night at St. Teresa of Kolkata Catholic Church, 3445 Maynardville Highway, Maynardville, Tennessee.

Mass of Christian Burial 10 a.m. Saturday, February 11, 2023 St. Teresa of Kolkata Catholic Church, Father Neil Pizzulo, celebrant. Family and friends will gather at the church 9-10 a.m. Saturday. Interment Calvary Cemetery, 1916 Martin Luther King, Jr. Avenue, Knoxville, Tennessee 37915.
