Amanda Lee Daniels

Amanda Lee Daniels, age 41, passed away at 8:30am on Thursday, May 16, 2019.
Amanda was born in Knoxville on December 2, 1977 in Knoxville. She was a home health care provider at L&L Sweet Home Care. Amanda was full of life and the room would light up when she walked in. She had a contagious smile and you couldn’t help but love her. Amanda had a very forgiving heart and never held a grudge.
She is preceded in death by her husband Josh Daniels.

Marie Holt

Marie Elizabeth Holt – age 80, was born on March 29, 1939 and passed away Tuesday, May 14, 2019.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Rosa Holt; husband of 32 years, Leon Holt; daughter, Kathy McDaniels; and eight siblings. Marie is survived by her daughter, Jeannie (Harold) Ray; son, Lee (Marie) Holt; nine grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren; brother, Bruce Holt, and special friend, Dennis Lovell.

Baker Lodge #720 and employee of TDOT for 45 years.

Fredrick "Pete" Chadwell

Fredrick (Pete) Chadwell-age 81 of Maynardville passed away Monday, May 13, 2019 after a long illness. He passed away peacefully at his home with family and friends at his side. He was of the Baptist faith. Pete was a member of J. C. Baker Lodge #720 F. & A.M. and The Kerbela Shrine. Pete was instrumental in bringing the Optimist Club to Union County, former owner of Chadwell Brothers Meat Company, Hickory Valley Meat Company and was the owner of the original Pete’s Place Restaurant in Union County. Wilma McQueen Berry

Berry, Wilma McQueen, 70, died Sunday the 12th of May at home in Knoxville. She was preceded in death by her parents William McQueen Cureton and Martha Haun Cureton. She as a young girl attended Miss Claudette's Riley Baton School and graduated from Smithwood Elementary School. She then attended and graduated from Knoxville Central High School in 1967. She was in chorus at Central. She then worked at Miller's Department Store and also Hess's. She joined Kirkwood Presbyterian Church in Burlington as a young lady.

Charlie Seal

Charlie Elisha Seal-age 73 of Maynardville, Tennessee went to be with the Lord, Saturday, May 11, 2019 at North Knoxville Medical Center. He was a member of Sharon Missionary Baptist Church in West Friendship, Maryland. Charlie was born April 7, 1946 in Sneedville, Tennessee. He grew up in Damascus, Maryland, the son of the late Henry and Pearl (Mathis) Seal. Also preceded in death by daughter, Patricia Seal; sisters, Cordie Lee Barnard, Dorothy Halterman and Vella Beall; brothers, Mack Henry Seal.

Glenn Jones

Glenn Jones, age 76, passed away May 13, 2019. He was a member of Clear Springs Baptist Church. He was an iron worker and set structural steel. He was the first to say “let me help”. He volunteered at the Fountain City Ministry Center. Glenn loved his children and grandchildren dearly and there wasn’t anything he wouldn’t do for them. He is preceded in death by parents John & Verdie Jones and brother Charles Jones.

Johnny Ray King Sr.

Johnny Ray King Sr., 71 of Knoxville passed away Friday, May 10, 2019. Johnny brightened everyone’s day and was loved by everyone who knew him. He was the hardest working and most dependable man; he took care of everything for everyone. He was stubborn as the day was long. Preceded in death by parents John C. King & Vernon Pauline Dotson King and Brother Clifton King. Survived by children Jonya (Bryan) Coffey, Bubby, Jessica (Bobby) McClain and Shane Sealy; several brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, 13 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Jordyn Hope Parker

Jordyn Hope Parker-age 23 of New Tazewell went to be with the Lord, Monday, May 6, 2019 at her home. She attended Claiborne County High School and was an avid fan of the University of Tennessee football team. Preceded in death father, Michael Parker; brother, Jared Parker; grandparents, Roscoe and Barbara Hooper.

Harold Eugene Hundley

Harold Eugene Hundley, born on October 17, 1959, passed in peace on May 7, 2019 at Vanderbilt Hospital after a short but devastating illness. Harold was the most honest, sincere and dedicated husband, father and grandfather. He took care of everyone but himself and was truly selfless. He was a good friend and partner to his loving wife Beverly. Harold was an excellent cook and made delicious gravy. One of his greatest joys was spending time with his grandchildren. He worked for the Kendall Group as a buyer in electrical distribution for over forty years.

Katherine Juanita Hutchison

Katherine Juanita “Nene” (Hickman) Hutchison, age 95 of Corryton, passed away on May 7, 2019. She retired from Knox County Food Service, Gibbs High School and Gibbs Elementary School. She was the oldest member of Fairview Baptist Church in Corryton. Preceded in death by her husband, Leroy M. Hutchison (Veteran WW2), parents Ira and Edna Hickman, brothers Bill, Donald, Charles and Lynn. Survived by her children, Terry Hutchison, Donna Spino (Ken), Leisa Hutchison, brother Vaughn Hickman, 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

On May 4, 2019, Corey Douglas Turner-age 26 of Knoxville was called home to rest with his mother. He will be remembered by how care free he lived life, his smile, and a personality that could brighten anyone's day. Linda Ruth Hobbs Smith

Linda Ruth Hobbs Smith, age 62, passed away May 7, 2019. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and companion. She was of Baptist faith. She loved bluegrass music, cooking on Rusty’s Chuckwagon and spending time at toy and comic book conventions. She will be missed by so many. She is preceded in death by parents Edward & Edna Hobbs and brother Johnny Hobbs. Survived by husband of 47 years, James “Jim” Smith, son Gabe Smith, granddaughter Zoe Baker, brother Mark Hobbs, sister Kathy Hobbs and a host of loving nieces & nephews.

Tiffany Wallace Dailey-age 38 of Knoxville went to be with the Lord Saturday, April 27, 2019 at her home. Preceded in death by her mother, Pamela Whitaker Wallace; Maternal and paternal grandparents, aunts and uncles.

She is survived by her two children, father, Eddie G. Wallace; sister and brother along with several aunts, uncles and cousins. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

BELOVED FATHER AND HUSBAND, Ronald Wise Stanley, Jr., -age 48 of Knoxville passed away Saturday, May 4, 2019. He will always be in our hearts and greatly missed. He was a U. S. Army Veteran. Preceded in death by mother, Anna Faye Stanley and step-son, Austin Wayne Jones.

Mrs. Geraldine Hatmaker Pearson, age 82 of Bremen, Georgia passed away on Thursday, May 2, 2019. She was born on March 8, 1937 to the late Louis Basil Hatmaker and the late Mary Bridges Hatmaker. Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her daughter Deborah Lynne Pearson.
