Carol Darleen Hamley

Carol Darleen Hamley born February 8, 1942, age 77, of Knoxville, Tennessee died October 24, 2019.
Carol was preceded in death by her father Jack Allen Hamley, Sr., her mother Hallie Ima Monroe Hamley, her brother Jack Allen Hamley, Jr., and her sister Judy Kaye Hamley Malach.
Along with many extended family members and friends, Carol leaves behind her sister Teresa Allen; children Jim Mash, Jeff Mash and Jennifer Valentine; grandchildren Christopher Mash, Alexandria Ball, Katelyn Mash, Cameron Mash and Sophie Loughran, as well as great-grandson Alfred Ball.

Billy Chilcoat

Bill Chilcoat, age 87, went to Heaven on Wednesday, October 23, 2019. Bill was born in Steele, Alabama and moved to Oak Ridge when he was 11. He graduated from Oak Ridge High School in 1950. He served in the United States Air Force from 1952-1956. He married Jimmie Sue Calhoun in 1954. Bill worked for Oak Ridge National Lab (X-10) for 38 years. He is presently a member of First Baptist Powell and was formerly a member of Grace Baptist Church where he taught Sunday School for many years. Following his retirement, he worked with Baptist Disaster Relief and Cross Ministries.

Inez Evon Shelton

Inez Evon Shelton-age 93 of Washburn passed away Monday afternoon, October 21, 2019 at her home. She was a member of Mt. Eager Baptist Church since she was 9 years old. She received her Masters Degree of Science from the University of Tennessee and taught school in the Grainger County School System for 41 years. She was preceded in death by grandparents, Paris and Lucinda (Williams) Hamilton, Samuel and Nora (Nicely) Shelton; parents, Rev.

Charles Franklin Kerekes

Charles Kerekes-age 62 of Knoxville passed away Saturday afternoon October 19, 2019 at the home of his daughter. He was a loving father and grandfather. He worked at Dalton Foundry in Kendallville, Indiana for 30 years. Preceded in death by his wife, Marlene Kerekes; parents, John Kerekes and Mary Toth; brother, Andrew Kerekes, sister, Wanda Kay Kerekes Potter.

Survivors are daughter, Sarah Campos, grandchildren, Aryana and Jaydon Campos, brother, James Kerekes and several nephews.

Sierra “Iver” Huiting – age 22 of Andersonville, passed away peacefully on October 18, 2019. She was a member of Byrams Fork Baptist Church. Sierra loved her pet frogs and fish, nature, art, Chick-fil-A; and her online friends.

Melba Jennilee Brewer Kitts

Melba Jennilee Brewer Kitts-age 86 of Knoxville went home to join her family circle unbroken. The angels set her spirit free peacefully Tuesday evening, October 15, 2019 at her home with her family by her side. She was a member of Dante Church of God. She loved to sing and spread the word of God. Devoted caretaker to many family and friends. John was the pastor of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church. John was a member of the J.C. Baker Lodge #720. John also served as an officer for the Blount County Sheriff’s Office. John was a well-known hair Stylist/Barber in Blount County.
