Joseph “Joe” Smith, Jr., age 88 of Knoxville, went to be with the lord on November 6, 2018. He was a member of Texas Valley Baptist Church. He is a veteran of the United States Army and served in the Korean War. He is preceded in death by daughter, Jo Ann Smith; wife, Roxie Ann Smith; brother, Robert Smith; sisters, Edith Grattis, Sarah Smith and Margaret Gray. He is survived by his brother, Bill Smith (Wanda); niece, Wanda Mulligan; great-nephew, Tyler Mulligan; many extended family and friends.

Eddie Joe Grissom

Eddie Joe Grissom-age 65 of Corryton passed away Saturday, November 3, 2018 at his home. Preceded in death by father, Verlin Grissom; brothers, Harvey, Darrell and Mike Grissom.

Survivors: children, Edward Horner and Angel Pittillo; mother, Betty Grissom of Maynardville; sisters, Sandra Stabnow, Diane McGinnis, Peggy Leonard; brother, Terry Grissom; fiancée, Denise Pack; grandchildren, Julie and Joey Hughett; several nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins and a host of friends to include, Tom Hamby.

Joseph Anthony McDonald

Joseph Anthony McDonald, age 50 of Knoxville died unexpectedly on November 2, 2018.
Joey is preceded in death by son, Ryan Anthony McDonald, parents Charles Roger McDonald, Sr. and Genevieve Miller, and fiancée Michele Sharp all of Knoxville, Tennessee.

He is survived by his daughter Chrystal Dunlap McDonald, grandchildren Jonathan, Destinee, Nathaniel and Kayden Travis, brother Charles Roger McDonald, Jr. (Donna), sister Teresa McDonald Cooper (Roberto), nephews Channing McDonald and Cameron Cooper all of Knoxville, Tennessee.

Brandon Leslie Harmon

Brandon Leslie Harmon, age 25 of Knoxville, passed away October 31, 2018. Survived by mother Brenda Harmon (Mark Rogers), brothers, Scott Harmon, Austin Rogers, and Ben Rogers, nephew Jacob Harmon, grandparents Sandra Stagnolia and Doug Harmon (Becky). Family will receive friends Wednesday 6:00-8:00pm at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel with service to follow at 8:00pm, Rev. Mike Darden will officiate. Family and friends will meet 2:45pm Thursday at Greenwood Cemetery for a 3:00pm interment.

Donna R. Stiner-age 55 of Knoxville passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, October 30, 2018. Preceded in death by mother, Goldie Palmer; sister, Kathy Nelson and two brothers, Richard and Charlie Palmer.

Survived by the love of her life, Jeff Brown; children, Lacy Lambert, Crystal Lambert and Randy Harrell, Kendall Wayne Stiner; grandchildren, Kaitlin and Logan Lambert, Lucas and jenny Harrell and two other grandchildren. Donna will be missed by all who knew her.

Shelby Jean Beeler-age 78 of Luttrell passed away Wednesday afternoon, October 31, 2018 at Select Specialty Hospital-Ft. Sanders. She was a member of New Friendship Baptist Church. Preceded in death by husband, Hughie Beeler; parents, Albert and Bonita Hensley; father and mother-in-law, Luther and Dorothy Beeler.

Jim Chadwell

Jimmy “Jim” Chadwell – age 84 of Andersonville went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 30, 2018. He was of the Baptist faith and was a United States Army veteran. He is a past Master and lifelong member of J. C. Baker Lodge #720 and a member of the Shriners and Scottish Rites.

Robert James Neal

Robert James Neal III, age 4 months, of Knoxville Tennessee gained his wings on October 26, 2018. He was a beautiful baby boy who was loved greatly by his family. Jackie Lynn Jeffries

Jackie Lynn Jeffries, age 54, passed away October 27, 2018. She was a loving wife, mother, and Gran Gran. She enjoyed living life to the fullest. She loved eating Mexican food, watching the Lifetime channel, and going to the lake with family and friends. Jackie had a contagious laugh and a beautiful smile. She was loved by everyone who met her. She was a kind and caring person who loved her family. Preceded in death by father John Pierce Leonard, step father-in-law, Larry Eugene Powell, and special friend, Rita Roth.

Jeffery Frank Beeler

Jeffrey Frank Beeler-age 53 of Luttrell passed away Sunday evening, October 28, 2018 at his home. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church, Corryton. Preceded in death by parents, John and Dora Beeler; brothers, Johnny Lee Beeler, Jerry Beeler, Jerry Beeler; sister, Mary Beeler.

Survivors: sisters, Shyrle Wyrick, Libby Hensley and husband, Joey, Missy Beeler; three children, Jeffery, Amanda and Matthew. Eight grandchildren. Special friend, Dan “Smiley” Weens. Several nieces and nephews along with a host of friends.

Joseph (Joe) Stephens

Mr. Joseph E. (Joe) Stephens age 57 of Clinton went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 24, 2018. He was a Graduate of Cumberland College in Williamsburg, KY. Joe enjoyed the fellowship of family reunions and sharing his knowledge this area’s history, and was a valued member of the Campbell County Historical Society. During the Summer months, Joe enjoyed socializing at the Oak Ridge City Pool. Preceded in death by Parents, Arlis Marion and Helen Nadine Heatherly Stephens, and Brother, John Arlis Stephens.

Mildred T. Wyrick

Mildred T. Wyrick-age 92 of Corryton went home to be with the Lord, October 28, 2018 after an extended stay at Trinity Nursing Facility. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church, Corryton. Preceded in death by son, Paul Edward Wyrick and many family members and friends. She was a retired employee of The Palm Beach Company.

Ralph J. Giles

Ralph J. Giles, born August 18, 1938 of Monroe County, Tennessee passed away October 27, 2018. He was a proud member of Teamsters Local 519 for 40 years, and he retired from Roadway Express. He enjoyed the fellowship and fun of being a street rod owner for many years, where he met many of his dear friends. He enjoyed his family, NASCAR, and trips to Daytona Beach. He attended church at Lonsdale United Methodist Church, where he became a member in 1971.

Randall Allen George

Randall “Randy” Allen George, age 50 passed away on Friday, October 26, 2018. He was born in Chattanooga but lived in Knoxville, Maryville, Friendsville, and Luttrell Tennessee. He graduated from Bearden High School in Knoxville. He worked in heat and air and painted most of his life, running his own company for several years. He was a project manager for Custom Crafted the last couple years in Sevierville, TN. He was a member of Washington Pike Methodist Church while growing up but attended other churches over the years before he got sick. He was a believer and was saved at a young age.

James "Jim" Richards

James “Jim” Richards – age 74 of Maynardville, passed away on Monday, October 22, 2018 at U. T. Medical Center. Jim was a wonderful and loving husband, father and brother. He loved listening to music, mostly Elvis Presley, checking the mail, simple things in life, but most of all he loved his family. He adored playing with his grandchildren and telling the story of how he met and danced with his beautiful wife. Jim will always be remembered as having a full and loving life. He was a strong and caring man who will be missed dearly and thought of daily.

Twanna R Wallace, 64, of Chattanooga passed away Thursday, October 25, 2018 at her home surrounded by her family. She was the daughter of Murray and Faye McClure. She is preceded in death by her father Murray L McClure Sr. Twanna spent most of her life traveling and singing with The McClure Family. She was a member of The Church of God, The Gospel Assembly at the time of her death.
