Cooked Freezer Corn
It seems most everyone has a favorite way to freeze corn. Each of them says it turns out more like fresh sweet corn than other methods. If you don't have a favorite recipe, try this one.
COOKED FREEZER CORN
5 quarts whole kernel sweet corn
1 cup water
1/2 cup margarine
1/2 cup sugar
2 teaspoons salt
To prepare the corn, husk the ears and cut off the whole kernels. Don't scrape the ears. Combine the corn with remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil and boil 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Cool. Package for the freezer.
