Gladys Maples Corum, age 91, of Corryton, Tennessee passed away Friday, February 1, 2019. She retired from St. Mary’s Hospital and was of Christian Faith.

Preceded in death by husband Ray Corum; parents Charlie and Sally Maples; brothers and sisters Dan, Carl, Paul, David, Essie Tapp and Madge Kirby.

Survived by sons Steve Corum, and wife Denise, and Charles Corum; grandchildren James and Lacey Corum, Cody and Leigh Corum; great grandchildren Marissa, Vincent, Peyton and Parker Corum; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Mabel Gail Buckner-age 70 of Maynardville, born June 20, 1948 and left this earth on January 31, 2019. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Boyd C. Vaughn Everett Atkins-age 77 of Maynardville, born May 29, 1941 passed away Wednesday evening, January 30, 2019 at Parkwest Medical Center. Preceded in death by wife, Helen Bates Atkins; son, Jeffrey Atkins; parents, Andy and Emily Inklebarger Atkins; brother, G. M. Atkins.

Mary Lee Montooth-age 74 of Luttrell also known to all as DeeDee passed away Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at her home. She was preceded in death by husband, Bryan K. Montooth; mother, Tressie E. Chittum; father, Harvey Chittum, Sr.; sister, Mary Jane Strevel; brothers, Reese and Harvey Chittum, Jr.; niece, Teresa Hope Chittum.

Nathan "Nate" Buckner

Nathan “Nate” Dallen Buckner – was born into this world March 1, 1989 at 3:41 a.m. He was saved April 5, 1998 on the bank at Nance Ferry and baptized by his dad. With the hope he received that day, he used it on January 25, 2019 when he took his last breath at 4:00 p.m. at U T Medical Center after he was so selfishly stripped from this life. He had a heart of gold and was a loving son, brother, uncle, grandson and friend. If he loved you he’d go above and beyond to help you in anyway. From the day he was born he was ready to take on the world.

Shannon Rene Eichelberger

Shannon Rene Eichelberger, age 50, passed away on Friday, January 25, 2019. She was a member of NA (Narcotics Anonymous) for 25 years. She was a loving woman with a big heart. She is preceded in death by her husband of 17 years, Chuck Peterson. She is survived by her son Matt Moyers; parents Bill & Eva Eichelberger; sisters Connie Weiss (Ed) and Cathy Roach; brothers John Eichelberger and Bill Eichelberger; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Brian Russell Cody, age 32, passed away Sunday January 27, 2019. He was a fun-spirited, loving and kind man who never met a stranger. He is preceded in death by his mother Pam, whom he loved dearly. He was survived by his only daughter Lainee Jane Cody, who was the love of his life and entire world; his father Dewey “Bubba” Cody Jr. (Tracey- “Mom”), brothers Dustin (India) and Corey; sister Faith, stepsisters McKinna and Megan Williams, and devoted family loved ones Josh and Valerie Rader.

Carolyn Stefanski

Carolyn Stefanski – age 84 of Maynardville, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 22, 2019. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Carolyn loved her and she was loved by her grandchildren who always came first. Grandpa and Granma spent a good fifteen years on the road in their motor home.

Dale R. Wesche – age 39 of Heiskell, passed away Thursday, January 17, 2019 as a result of an automobile accident. He was a member of Fairview Free Will Baptist Church. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and 4-wheeling with his friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Wilma Wesche. Dale is survived by his canine companion, Gretchen; and a community of friends.
