Ladies Raising Livestock Conference

GREENEVILLE, Tenn. — University of Tennessee Extension, in cooperation with Tennessee State University Extension is pleased to host an event celebrating the strength and resilience of women in agriculture. The ‘Ladies Raising Livestock Conference’ will focus on the unique struggles and experiences women face in the livestock business.

The conference will be held Friday, February 2, at the UT Clyde Austin 4-H Center in Greeneville. Note the venue has been updated from previous announcements.

UT releases 2025 field day schedules

KNOXVILLE — The UT Institute of Agriculture will present nearly two dozen field days in 2025 featuring advanced research and tried-and-true landscaping, production and land management techniques for practicing farmers, homeowners and all who are interested, a news release stated.

Most events will be hosted at UT AgResearch and Education Centers throughout the state, and they will feature UTIA researchers and UT Extension specialists as expert speakers.

2025 UC 4-H Public Speaking Contest results

The Union County 4-H Public Speaking Contest showcased the talent and hard work of our youth, highlighting their dedication to honing skills that will help shape them into future leaders. Held at Horace Maynard Middle School, this year’s competition was a resounding success, and we extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who made it possible.
