Bride's Punch
Most everything at a wedding is white, even the punch. There is no alcohol in this one. It doesn't need it. The ginger ale gives it the tang. Make more as needed. It's not expensive to do. For the ice ring, remember to boil the water first, then cool it. The process works better if you do.
BRIDE'S PUNCH
12 ounce can frozen lemonade concentrate
1 1/2 quarts water
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 quart white grape juice, chilled
1 liter bottle ginger ale, chilled
Large ice ring with lemon slices and mint leaves
In a large punch bowl combine lemonade concentrate and water. Add sugar and stir to dissolve. Add the grape juice. Stir to combine. Chill by adding ice ring. Add ginger ale just before serving. 24 servings.
ICE RING
6 cups water
Fresh mint leaves
Lemon slices, if desired
Boil water for 1 minute. Let cool to room temperature. Pour 3 cups cooled water into a 6 cup mold. Freeze solid. Arrange mint leaves and lemon slices, if using, in mold as desired. Slowly add enough remaining cooled water to fill mold. Freeze. Let mold sit at room temperature for 5 minutes or until able to loosen to unmold. If making more punch, make more ice rings.
