Wilma Lou Tolliver

Wilma Lou Tolliver-88 of Sharps Chapel went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 28, 2024. Wilma was a retired schoolteacher of 44 years in the Union County School System. Preceded in death by her parents, Woodrow and Hettie Cole; sister, Jewell Edwards; niece, Marlene Godfrey; nephews, Marty Edwards, Mike Edwards.

She is survived by, Norm Tolliver; daughter, Jeannie Dyer and husband Dwight; grandchildren, Dylan Berry and wife Ashley, Dalton Berry; great grandchildren, Amelia and Cullen, Maylen Berry.

The family wishes to express a special thank you to, Crystal Kitts, Beth Raley and Sis Walker.

The family will receive friends 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, January 31, 2024, with the funeral service to follow at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Robbie Corum and Rev. Dylan Berry officiating. Music by Diane Lay and Jessica Jones. Interment 12 p.m. Thursday, February 1, 2024, at Fairview Cemetery, New Tazewell. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home 10:30 am Thursday to go with the procession. Pallbearers: Derek Williams, Dalton Berry, Daniel Cole, Bryan Shoffner, Buddy Tolliver, Stacy Edwards. Honorary Pallbearers: Cullen Berry, Bobby Ray Cole, Charles Tolliver. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
