William Anthony (Panda) Anderson-age 71 of Maynardville, born August 24, 1952 passed away Friday evening, October 27, 2023 at his home after a short battle with cancer. He loved racing, fishing, fast cars and old westerns. He was preceded in death by parents, Sid and Birdie Anderson; step-father, William Hurst; sisters, Patsy Gross, Mary Channell, Dorothy and Jena Anderson; brothers, James, David and Mike Anderson.

He leaves his wife of 43 years, Joyce (Monroe) Anderson; his son, Chris Anderson and his granddaughter, Alyssa Anderson who was his pride and joy. Several nieces, nephews and cousins along with several brothers and sisters-in-law.

His arrangements will be set at a later date with a private ceremony. He always said if people couldn’t come see him alive, then he didn’t want them to come see him dead. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
