Troy Leon Yadon-age 76 of Maynardville passed away Sunday, September 18, 2022 at North Knoxville Medical Center. He was a member of Chestnut Grove Baptist Church and a U. S. Army Veteran of the Viet Nam War. He was also a proud member of the Tri-County Veterans Honor Guard. Preceded in death by his wife, Kathy Smith Yadon; parents, Roy and Belva (Savage) Yadon; brother, Glen Yadon; sisters, Louise Bailey and Inez Ellen Poore; brother-in-law, Jerry Cole.

Survivors: sons and daughters-in-law, Troy Lee and Rhonda Yadon; Matthew Eddie and Susie Yadon, all of Maynardville. Five grandchildren, Marshall Yadon, Donnie Yadon, Damien Yadon, MaKenzie Yadon, Zachary Yadon; sister, Wanda Cole; brothers and their wives, Fred and Sue Yadon; James and JoAnn Yadon; Virgil and Wanda Yadon. Several nieces and nephews along with a host of friends.

The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, September 21, 2022 with the funeral service to follow at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Joe Nicely, Rev. Ronnie McBee officiating with music by Patsy Buckner and Eddie and Barbara Smith. Military graveside service 10 a.m. Thursday, September 22, 2022 at Pleasant View Cemetery, Maynardville conducted by Tri-County Veterans honor Guard. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home at 9:15 a.m. Thursday to go with the procession.
