Troy (Todd) Muncey-age 87 of Maynardville passed away Thursday evening, June 23, 2022 at the Willow Ridge Center. He was a retired auto/body repairman. He was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys Muncey; parents, Barton and Amie (Polly) Muncey; sons, Jeffery Muncey and Gary (Bones) Muncey; brothers, Leroy Sexton and Ed Muncey; great-grandson, Dalton Lewis.

Survivors: Son, Lynn Muncey and wife, Pamela of Maynardville; daughter, Amy Evans Taylor and husband, Dustin of Strawberry Plains; special grandchildren, Terry Muncey and wife, Alicia of Luttrell; Lauren Muncey of Knoxville. Grandchildren, April Wilson and Shay; Paul Wilson and Erica, Coty Evans, Jeremy Buckner, Corey Coffey, Marcus and Landon Taylor, Melissa Clark. Great-grandchildren, Kailey Muncey, Brantley Muncey, Isiah Lewis, Caden Lewis, Kaesyn Romines, Bentley Hill, Jonathon Romines, Justin Smith, Braylon Evans, Devon Wilson and Mikayla Deloach. Sister: Ann Bailey. Several nieces and nephews along with a host of friends. The family would like to express a special thank you to the nurses and staff of The Willow Ridge Center, also the nurses and staff U. T. Hospice.

The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Sunday, June 26, 2022 with the funeral service to follow at 7 p.m. Sunday, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Charles Muncey officiating. Interment 10 a.m. Monday, June 27, 2022, Big Barren Cemetery, Maynardville. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home by 9 a.m. Monday to go with the funeral procession. Pallbearers: Dustin Taylor, Terry Muncey, Paul Wilson, Roger Richardson, Billy Joe Henderson, Larry Henderson. Honorary Pallbearers: Devon Wilson, Brantley Muncey.
