Tony Franklin Carter-age 54, of Sharps Chapel, born December 30, 1966 passed away Thursday morning, December 16, 2021 at Claiborne Medical Center. He was a member of Highland Baptist Church. Preceded in death by parents, Frank and Daisy Carter, step-father, Claude Munsey; grandparents, George and Sinthia Pearce; brothers, John and Charles Carter; brother-in-law, Audy Keck.

Survivors: wife of 37 years, Frances Carter; son, Jake Carter (Deanna Stump); daughter, Amber (Casey) Sollars; grandsons, Vallen and Lex Sollars; brother, Jim (Jeanette) Carter; sister, Barbara Keck. Several nieces and nephews along with a host of friends.
The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Saturday, December 18, 2021 at Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.

Funeral service 2 p.m. Sunday, December 19, 2021, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Kenny Williams officiating with music by Bryce Raley. Interment will follow at Taylor’s Grove Cemetery, Sharps Chapel. Pallbearers: Cody Carter, Todd Tolliver, Bryce Raley, Junior Mabe, Casey Sollars, Jeremy Rouse, Jordan Maples.
