Shelia Ann (Gunter) Dyer – age 70 of Maynardville, formerly of Knoxville, passed away January 1, 2025 at Claiborne County Health and Rehab Center. She was of the Baptist faith.

She is preceded in death by parents, Jack and Deloris Gunter; sisters, Dottie York, Jackie Williams and Norma Brown. Sheila is survived by son, Brian (Heather) Dyer, grandchildren, Jeremy Byrd, Caleb (Emilee) Dyer, Haven (Justin) Dyer, Nevah (Hunter) Dyer and Cole Dyer; great grandchildren, Harper Johnson, Ivee Dyer, Wesley Suddath and Whitlee Dyer; special niece, Gina (Jon) Carter; and lifelong friend, Jerry Headrick.

The family will receive friends 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Friday, January 3, 2025 in the Trinity Funeral Home Chapel. The service to follow with Reverend Eddie Muncey officiating. Family and friends will meet 12:00 p.m., Saturday, January 4, 2025 to proceed to Pleasant View Cemetery for a 1:00 p.m. graveside service.
