Sandi “Mime” ,“Momma” Jane Fortner age 65 of Knoxville went home to be with the Lord July 6, 2017. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and mimer. Graduate of Knoxville Business Collage and Bryan Collage Magna Cumelaude. Preceded in death by parents Rev. Albert and Betty Walters and brother Vaughn Walters. Survivors, beloved husband Steve Fortner, son Nicholas “Nick” Fortner (Kerri Keaton) , daughter Meghan Fortner, grandchildren Jackson Fortner and Ella Keaton, sister Suzi Allison (Larry), several nieces and nephews, last surviving uncle Tony Buhl . Service at 7 pm Monday at Calvary Baptist Church 3200 Kingston Pike , Knoxville, Tn., Rev. Dr. Dan Riley officiating. Family and friends will meet 10:45am, Tuesday, at Greenwood Cemetery for interment at 11:00am. Family will receive friends 5 to 7 pm Monday at Calvary Baptist Church.
