Samuel David Goin-age 74 of Luttrell passed away June 5, 2024, at North Knoxville Medical Center. He was a member at New Friendship Baptist Church. Sam loved gardening, fishing and watching football, especially the Vols. He is preceded in death by his parents, Rev. John and Bertha (Hickle) Goin.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda (Muncey) Goin; daughter, Shaunte (Misty) Goin; son, Shannon; grandchildren, Luke and Colt Johnson, Emilie Keck; brothers, Rev. Leonard (Irene) Goin, Johnny (Deneen) Goin, Darrell (Laverne) Goin; fishing buddies, Joe and Tommy Campbell and many family and friends to mourn his passing and cherish the memories.
