Roy Lee Shoffner-age 68 of Sharps Chapel passed away Saturday, April 29, 2017 at Claiborne Medical Center. Preceded in death by father, Cillus Shoffner.
Survivors: mother, Vella Tapp Shoffner Daniels of Tazewell; brother, G. Paul Shoffner and wife, Dorothy of Knoxville; sister, Judy Shoffner of Tazewell. Nephews, Paul D. Shoffner and wife, Rhonda; Mike Shoffner and wife, Susan, all of Knoxville. Several great-nieces and great-nephews.
The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Monday, May 1, 2017 with funeral services to follow at 8 p.m. Monday, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Greg Sharp officiating with music by the Sherritze Family. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home 10 a.m. Tuesday to proceed to Stiner Cemetery, Sharps Chapel for interment service at 11 a.m. Pallbearers: family and friends.
