Roberta Christine Bruner – age 94 of Maynardville, went to be with her Heavenly Father, June 2, 2023. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Roberta retired from Standard Knitting Mill after 44 years. She will be greatly missed.

She is preceded in death by husband of 54 years, Herbert Junior Bruner; parents, Reed and Mamie Welch; brothers, Ulyess Welch and Buford Welch; sisters, Vonnie Stanifer; and grandson, Billy Joe Graves. Roberta is survived by daughter, Wanda Fay (U. L.) Graves; son, Gene (Jean) Bruner; daughter, Phyllis Daniels; seven grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; ten great great grandchildren; brother, Carl Welch; and sisters, Virginia Welch and Mattie Coppock.

The family will receive friends 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Monday, June 5, 2023 in the Trinity Funeral Home Chapel. The service to follow with Reverend Phillip Hayes officiating. Family and friends will meet 9:15 a.m., Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at Trinity to proceed to Union Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery for an 10:00 a.m., graveside service.
