Robert Lewis Galyon – age 89 of Andersonville, passed away September 24, 2023. He retired from Greyhound Bus Service as a mechanic.

He is preceded in death by parents, John Devro and Isabel Walker Galyon; brother, John Devero Galyon, Jr.; sister, Bettie Ann Galyon; granddaughter, Katherine Hungate; and cousin, Frank Peterson. Robert is survived by sons, Terrill Galyon and Jeffrey R. (Loetta) Galyon; daughters, Belinda (Charles) Hungate, Carol (Tim) Griffith and Tina (Mark) Grissom; grandchildren, Leighann Jenkins-Cash, Erika Rose, Nick Galyon, Adrienne Thomas, Elizabeth Edralin, Kelsey Wall, Shelby Wilson, Christine Woliver, Kylie Grissom and Marie Hungate; eighteen great grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Elizabeth Galyon.

The family will receive friends 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 26, 2023 in the Trinity Funeral Home Chapel. The service to follow with Reverend Tony McAfee officiating. Family and friends will meet at Trinity 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 27, 2023 to proceed to Hines Creek Cemetery for an 11:00 a.m. graveside service. Military honors will be conducted by Tri-County Veterans Honor Guard. Granddaughters will serve as pallbearers.
