Ritchie Maxwell Rose

Ritchie M. Rose-age 68 of Corryton went to be with the Lord Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at his home. He was a member of Dutch Valley Baptist Church. He loved singing and playing music. He was a part of The Washam Family gospel music group for many years. He loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing. Preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Rose; parents, Jack and Arlene (Washam) Rose; sister, Tesha Rose.

He is survived by his sons, Shawn Rose and wife, April, Corryton, Erik Rose, Corryton; step-children, Julie Alderman, Keith Walker, Amy Collier; eleven grandchildren, Chloe (Ethan McKnight), Emma (Eli Morgan), Jackson, Makalah, Kali, Kelsey and husband, Elliot, Logan, Christian, Madison, Lane Braden; three great grandchildren, Dallas Shawn, Everly Mae, Ryland; sister, Jackie Hawkins and husband Rick, Clinton; nephew, Cody; niece, Brittany; special friends, Brad Griffey and wife, Laura along with a host of other friends and relatives.

Family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Sunday, June 30, 2024, at Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel with the funeral service to follow at 7:00 PM Sunday, Rev. Brad Griffey officiating with music by The Washam Family. Family and friends will meet at 9:45 AM on Monday, July 1, 2024, at Dyer Cemetery, Powder Springs, for a 10:00 AM interment. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary in Maynardville.
