Ricky Dean Dotson-age 66 of the Hickory Star Community in Maynardville passed away Friday evening, August 16, 2024 at U. T. Medical Center. He was the retired owner/operator of his excavation company and was an executive of Norris Lake online. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Preceded in death by parents, Herman and Olive (Anderson) Dotson; son, Oland F. Dotson.

Survivors: wife of 24 years, Regina Dotson; Daughters, Misty Dotson Wright and husband, Joseph; Kristin Nichole Dotson Warren and husband, Jamison “Tripp”; Kristin Nicole Looney Pridemore and husband, Glen; Son, Kenneth William Dotson and Karrie Southerland. Two grandchildren, Hannah Elizabeth Morgan and Greyson Lee Warren. Brother, Terry Lee Dotson along with a host of friends and other relatives.

The family will receive friends 6-9 p.m. Tuesday, August 20, 2024 at Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
Funeral service 2 p.m. Wednesday, August 21, 2024, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Dr. Jared Graves officiating. Interment will follow at Graves Family Cemetery, Maynardville. Pallbearers: Joseph Wright, Kenneth Dotson, Jamison Warren, Glen Pridemore, Chris Reagan, Dr. Jared Graves.
