Richard Clayton Cooper – age 57 of Maynardville, passed away peacefully on November 27, 2024 after a long battle of pancreatitis, while surrounded by his loving family.

He is survived by father and mother, H. Clayton and Judy Cooper; son, Daniel (Andrea) Lewis; daughter, Angel (Kase) Owens; grandchildren, Madelyne (James) Lineham, Mayson O’Dell; and Bayleigh and Benjamin Lewis; great granddaughter, Lakin; sisters, Julie (James) DeVault and Angie (James) Clay; brother, Chris (Amanda) Cooper; nieces and nephews, Hannah, Trent, Makayla, Parker, Maleaha, Meah and Hayden.

The family will receive friends 12:00 – 2:00 p.m., Sunday, December 1, 2024 in the Trinity Funeral Home Chapel. The service to follow with Reverend Jimmy Davidson officiating. Following the service family and friends will proceed to Sharps Cemetery in Luttrell for a graveside service. Serving as pallbearers, Trent Cooper, Parker Clay, Mayson O’Dell, Billy Witt, James Lineham, Chris Cooper, James Clay and Hayden DeVault.
