Rev. John R. Price-age 72 of Maynardville, born November 22, 1944 went to be with his Lord Thursday, August 3, 2017. He loved the Lord with all his heart, soul, mind and strength and people as himself. He was the pastor of Fountain Valley Church, Maynardville. Survived and dearly missed by wife, Vickie; son, Nathan (Brittany) Price; daughters, Natalie Price and fiancé, Josh Norris; Kelly (Bobby) Gibson; grandchildren, Isaac and Lydia Price, Keaton and Charley Gibson; half-sister, Sue Cole and many special friends.

The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Saturday, August 5, 2017 with funeral service to follow at 7 p.m. Saturday, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Kyle Shell, Rev. Eric Nafziger officiating with music by Janet Cabbage. Interment 1 p.m. Sunday, August 6, 2017 at Fountain Valley Church Cemetery, Maynardville. Family and friends will meet by 12 noon Sunday at the funeral home to go in the funeral procession. Reception with food will follow at the church.
