Randy Edward Blankenship-age 64 of Washburn, born March 27, 1958 passed away suddenly Thursday, May 5, 2022. He was a Christian and was of the Baptist faith. Retired employee of Carmeuse Lime and Stone (Luttrell Operation). He was a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Preceded in death by father, Coy Blankenship; nephew, Dennis Dalton; grandparents, Ernest and Ida Blankenship; Vaughn and Ida Mae Wolfenbarger.
He is survived by his daughter, Tabitha Blankenship; Grandson, Cameron Blankenship Nole and wife, Dakota Nole; granddaughters, Hailey Conway and Ivy Buckner; great-grandbabies, Rylynn and Bryston, Adalynn and Waylon. Mother, Rema Blankenship. Brothers, Larry (Cathy) Blankenship, Gary (Shirley) Blankenship; sisters: Terry (Verlyn Dalton; Kim (Terry) Wynn. Several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Saturday, May 7, 2022 with the funeral service to follow at 7 p.m. Saturday, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Jerry Lynch officiating with music by Eddie and Brittany Muncey. Interment 2 p.m. Sunday, May 8 at Blankenship Cemetery, Washburn. Family and friends will meet the funeral home by 12:45 p.m. Sunday to go with the funeral procession.
