Phillip Matthew Lamb-age 46 of Luttrell passed away Monday morning, April 4, 2022 peacefully at his home. He was of the Baptist faith. Preceded in death by grandparents, Evelyn and Joe Lamb, Bertha and Earl (Jawbone) Thomas. Several aunts and uncles.

Survivors: mother and father, Alice and Herman (H. C.) Thomas; son Matthew Lamb and wife, Emma. Daughter, Ashton, Abigal and Alexia Lamb; grandson, Ayden Blake Lamb. Several special cousins, aunts and uncles. Close friend, Wes Atkins along with a host of other friends. The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the staff of Amedisys Home Health Care in Tazewell for the good care they gave Phillip during his illness.

Family night: 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, April 6, 2022.

The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Thursday, April 7, 2022 with the funeral service to follow at 7 p.m. Thursday, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Jason Dyer, Rev. Eddie Muncey officiating. Interment 1 p.m. Friday, April 8, 2022 at Thomas Cemetery, 1148 Bull Run Road, Luttrell. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home at 12 p.m. to go with the funeral procession. Pallbearers: Matthew Lamb, Joe Lamb, Jason Mills, Jim Mills, Terry Young, Chris Wolfenbarger. Honorary Pallbearers: Danny Thomas, Lynn Carpenter, Lance Thomas, Larry Brooks.
