Penny Sue (Wyrick) Shoffner – age 58 of Knoxville, TN originally from Luttrell, TN was called home to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 17, 2023, at 5:07 p.m. at North Knox Medical Center in Powell, TN. She was a mother, sister, friend, and a “mam” which was her favorite title. She was a member of Cedar Ford Baptist Church in Luttrell. Preceded in death by her special aunt and uncle Elbert and Ruby Wyrick, and her mother, Mary Sue Ogle. She leaves behind two daughters, Shana (Brandon) Roark and Kayla (Justin) Lundy; five special grandchildren that meant the world to her, Kenzie, Brandson, Bradon, Charlie and Frankie; sister, Joy (Danny) Wallace; brother, Jason (Sarah) Ogle: niece, Haley ( Jacob ) Gregory; special friend Betty “Nan” Shoffner and several friends at Sunnybrook apartments where she resided for the past 2 years. The family wishes a special thank you to the doctors and nurses of North Knox Medical Center for the support, love and kindness that was shown to the family during this difficult time. The family will have a memorial service, Monday, June 26, 2023, from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Cedar Ford Baptist Church with services to follow. Pastor Eddie Muncey officiating.
