Peggy Sue (Woods) Ensley – age 82 of Maynardville, a beautiful, vivacious and loving woman was suddenly taken from us by a hemorrhagic stroke. She was born and raised in Sharps Chapel and was a graduate of Horace Maynard High School, Class of 1960. Peggy was a member of Maynardville Church of Christ and a retired employee of DeRoyal Industries with 37 years of service.

She is preceded in death by her son, Bryan Ensley; parents, Osco and Elsie Woods along with ten brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Larry Ensley of Maynardville; son, Tommy Ensley; daughter, Jennifer Ensley White of Maynardville; three grandchildren, Christian Ensley, Hannah Ensley and husband Zachary Turner, Evie White; brothers, Eddie Woods and wife Debbie, Harold Woods and wife Bobbie; several nieces and nephews along with a host of friends.

The family will receive friends 5-7 PM Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at Cooke-Campbell Mortuary with funeral service to follow at 7 PM, Minister David Stansberry officiating. Graveside 2 PM Thursday May 16, 2024, New Loyston Memorial Gardens, Andersonville. Family and friends will meet at the cemetery at 1:45 PM on Thursday.
