Paul E. Williams-age 71 of Maynardville passed away Monday, October 9, 2017 at Physicians Regional Medical Center. Paul was a member of Mt. Eager Baptist Church and a retired employee of the Union County Highway Department. Preceded in death by parents, Rector and Bonnie Williams; brother, Junior Williams; sisters, Pauline (Jimmy) Nicely, Gladys Crawford.

Survivors: wife: Betty Carmon Williams, special daughter, Carrie Johnson, special son-in-law, James Johnson; sister-in-law, Charolette Williams; brother-in-law, Elmer Crawford; several other special family and friends.

Funeral service 2 P.M. Wednesday, October 11, 2017, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Joe Nicely officiating with music by Glen Kitts. Interment to follow at Pleasant View Cemetery, Maynardville. Pallbearers: Timmy Williams, Earl Loy, Jr, James Johnson, Roy Williams, Rev. Jack Walker, Jeff McGinnis. The family will be at 184 Accord Lane, Maynardville. The family request no flowers. The family will receive friends 6-8 P.M. Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
