Norma "Wammie" Sharp

Norma Dene "Wammie" (Sexton) Lucas Sharp- age 80, of Maynardville, born June 3, 1944, passed away Wednesday, August 14, 2024 at North Knoxville Medical Center. Norma was a long-time member of Little Valley Baptist Church. She loved Scrabble and Bingo. Norma was a very outgoing friendly person who never met a stranger. She loved to cut up and mingle with friends and family. She was a very sentimental, kindhearted, loving and giving person. Preceded in death by her parents, Troy “Jamup” and Lucille “Granny” (Hunley) Sexton; sons, Baby Lucas and Richard Scott Lucas; brother Raymond Lynn "Jamup" Sexton.

She is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Heathcock; sister, Mona Lisa (Sexton) Williams; sister-in-law, Pat Sexton; daughter in law, Lora Lucas; grandson, Scott Lavail Lucas; granddaughters, Ashleigh Lucas, Regina "Heathcock" Smith, and Angela "Heathcock" Petree; great grandchildren, Kayla Llewellyn, Trenton Petree, Jonathan Christian, Brently Petree, Corbin Sharp, Alea and Colton Smith, and Trayce Sharp; great great grandchildren; Jaxson, Holden, Camden Daughtry.

The family will receive friends 1-3 p.m. Saturday with the funeral service to follow at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, August 17, 2024 at Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel. In lieu of flowers, make donations to Cooke- Campbell Mortuary. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Maynardville.
