Nancy Carol “Hayo” Cox, age 69, of Knoxville, passed away surrounded by her family on December 24, 2017 after a long battle with dementia. She was born on April 6, 1948 in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. She was a loving Christian and very devoted to her family. She loved doing for others. We will always love you more. She was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Marie Dunn; step-father, Hobert Dunn; granddaughter, Andy Cox. She will forever be missed by her loving husband of 51 years, Perry “Bud” McArthur Cox; sons, Perry “Buddy” Cox and wife Michelle; Michael Cox and wife Dawn, Richard Cox and girlfriend PJ; daughter, Donna Leffew (Jason Leffew); 8 grandchildren who she adored, Jessica Cox, Bret Leffew, Brea Cox, Carly Cox, Chance Leffew, Michael Cox, Molly Leffew, and Emma Cox; and 1 great-grandchild, Braylen Cox; and a sister, Marie Dunn. The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 pm, Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel, with service to follow at 8:00 pm, Rev. Bryan Hair officiating.
