Mary “Penny” Curnutt Wyrick passed away on March 27, 2025. Born on December 23, 1945 and of the Baptist faith, Penny is survived by her husband of 60 years, Carl Wyrick. She is also survived by their daughter, Sherri (Bob) Prewitt, grandchildren Alex Prewitt, Mary (Austin) Richards, and Jacob Prewitt as well as great-grandchildren Luna and Aries. Penny was a precious cornerstone in her family - a keeper of the dates, addresses, photos, and social calendar and a firm reminder of their foundations. With Penny now in Heaven, the dogs and flowers there will be well-tended.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M on Sunday, March 30, 2025, at Cooke-Campbell Mortuary with a funeral service to follow at 2:00 P.M., officiated by Rev. Leonard Goin. Interment service will immediately follow at Sharp Cemetery in Luttrell. Pallbearers will be Stuart Wyrick, Erastus Cardwell, Jaxon Williams, Matt Graves, Bryan Gordon and Daniel Wyrick. Honorary pallbearers will be Alex and Jacob Prewitt. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary in Maynardville.
