Mary F. “Polly” Shope Joran-age 88 of Maynardville passed away Sunday morning, February 23, 2025, at North Knox Medical Center. She was of the Christian faith and loved by many. Preceded in death by her husband, Joseph C. Joran, Jr.; parents, Sam and Nora Shope, along with several brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Monroe and husband, Bill; grandson, Traves Walters and wife, Lebisa along with several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services 11 AM Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at New Loyston Memorial Gardens, Hickory Valley Road, Andersonville, Rev. Greg Sharp and Greg Davis officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 AM Wednesday at the cemetery. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
