Mary Katherine (Rosenbalm) Cox passed away peacefully surrounded by family, Saturday, March 19, 2022, at the age of 84. She was born and was a lifetime resident of Maynardville and was a member of Cedar Grove Missionary Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by husband of 57 years, Charles "Nig" Cox; parents, Paul and Beatrice Rosenbalm; and sister, Lou Emma Goforth. Mary is survived by daughters and their spouses, Cheryl and Terry Chittum, Karen and Joey Walker and Lisa and Steve Coppock; son, Brian and Trish Cox; grandchildren, Casey and Alison Chittum, Misty and Jesse Convery, Aaron and Samantha Chittum, Kara and Marquis Daley, Sarah (Jake), Hannah (Cody) and Sophie (Thomas) Cox; great grandchildren, MacKenzie and Nick Chittum, Ava and Parker Chittum, Zeke and Preston Convery and Eden Daley; and sister, Bloma Rush.

The family will receive friends 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., Monday, March 21, 2022, in the Trinity Funeral Home Chapel. The service to follow with Reverend Dwight Brantley officiating and music by Cedar Grove Quartet. Family and friends will meet 9:45 a.m., Tuesday, March 22, 2022, at Trinity to go in procession to Cox Cemetery for a 11:00 a.m. graveside service.
