Mary A. Cosby – age 71 of Maynardville, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, May 12, 2017. Mary received Jesus as her Lord and Savior at the age of 12 and was a member of Biltmore Holiness Temple in Asheville, North Carolina.

Mary is preceded in death by parents, Robert and Hilda Keever; brother, Raymond Keever; sister, Ruby Miller; and sons, Dewayne Edward Purvis and Terry Cosby. She is survived by husband of 37 years, Hurstle Ray Cosby; sons, William Wilson Purvis and Sammy Lee Purvis; daughter, Cynthia (Cindy) Ann Rush; grandchildren, Robert Purvis, James Purvis, Ashylnne Purvis, Hilda Purvis, Megan Purvis, Brad Walker and Chelsea Walker; great grandchildren, Madison Disney, Lilly Purvis and Elijah Purvis; sisters, Annie Mae Masters and Dorothy Roberts; and special friend, Dylan DeVault.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Saturday, May 13, 2017 in the Trinity Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral service to immediately follow at 8:00 p.m. with Reverend William Purvis officiating. Family and friends will meet at 1:15 p.m., Sunday, May 14, 2017 at Trinity Funeral Home to go in procession to Skaggs Cemetery for a 2:00 p.m. interment service.
